We are a couple and were told this indian restaurant is dear but has really good food so we booked it over the May bank holiday. When we arrived inside the restaurant was very beautiful and the staff were very efficient and polite. We ordered two tika masala with garlic naan bread. The garlic naan bread was black and burnt. We should have sent it back but we didnt. Very disappointed when we were spending abit in this place. Dinner are very pricey €15 -€20 for just a main so beware.

I've spent a lot of time in the UK and eaten a lot of good curry... It is very difficult to find similar standard Indian cuisine in Ireland & especially in Cork, but this place is the exception... To be fair, the food in this place is as good as & probably better than any place in the UK...it's absolutely savage!...I'm addicted; I have traveled into the city and back to Ballincollig when it was snowing and the local road was impassable...Serious cuisine; a gem in an otherwise dull local effort at Eastern cuisine.

I have tried few ones in cork but I must say Raj is much much better than all of them.It reminded me of an authentic punjabi cuisine n spices.no artificial food colour.I was quite happy and will surely return again.

Like all Indian restaurants in cork, this place has poor food. I'm from India so I'm actually a bit embarrassed....the food is far from authentic/ tasty....... Come eat at my home! The thing that really pissed me off is the price of dishes for what they are ( size and taste wise ) we bought the tandoori mixed for E14, we binned most of the meal. The roti was hard and far from edible. Please do not waste your time here if you are a foodie! If they were close enough, I'd drive back to return the food for a money back. Thanks

Visited the restaurant with a group of 6. Food was absolutely delicious and excellent service as well. The decor isn't anything too good compared to the other Indian restaurants in the City however it is more than made up by the food and the service. Was the best Indian food we had in Cork so far!

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I have to say it is a good indian restaurant with a nice atmosphere. There is a wide selection of dishes on the menu and the food was tasty. Service is good but we did receive our starters before we ahd eaten the poppadums. As with some indian restaurants the desserts did not offer much of a choice so we passed. I would go back again.

I would agree with the previous review that this is the best Indian food I have ever tased and also go for the Murg Makani whenever I go here. They also do good samosas and a nice onion dip which comes complimentary with popadoms. I hadn't been for a while and got a murg makani take out to share with a pilaf rice, garlic nan and samosas. The bill came to a little over 25 euro! I thought this was ridiculous for a take away. Granted the food is superb but the garlic nan was a bit stale and the price was insane for one main course portion and a few sides.

This is without a doubt the best Indian restaurant in Cork. The staff are excellent and attentive. The food is always superb - Murgh Makhani is one of the nicest dishes I have ever eaten bar none! I would highly recommend this restaurant - though it is outside the city, it is well worth the drive.

In my opinion this is the nicest Indian restaurant in Cork, the food is absolutely fabulous. It's a little bit out from the city and I find it a bit pricey, but it's well worth it. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very pleasant.
