Ate here with my boyfriend and his family. We got there about7pm so the place was very quiet but it did fill up as the evening went on. The hostess is excellent and remembered us from a visit the previous year. We were seated with drinks and the menu in the lovely reception area, where we took our time deciding what to have. Once our orders were taken we were brought into the dining room. The table settings are lovely and there is fresh brown bread and water set out already. Our group had the chicken liver pate, the goats cheese and soup. All excellent and really fresh. For mains, 3 of us had the risotto and 2 had the hake. The dishes were delicious. They all came with a little order of vegetables including a yummy potato gratin! 2 of us had dessert (a sorbet and a chococolate mousse). Really good food and the service is excellent. I'd like to try their bar menu for the same quality of food (hopefully) but a little bit cheaper. (And the garden out the front is gorgeous).
