A little cold at first, the restaurant warmed up with the arrival of other diners. Service was pleasant although the specials might have been written down rather than orally delivered. The food was very good and the one diner who did not consume a lot of the main course was not charged - a lovely, friendly and much appreciated touch from management. We will be back.

Just loved this place, the problem was I wanted to try everything on the menu. My husband had the taster starter to start, I had the crab and the special - whole sole, served with a proper fish knife, it was divine. We returned on Sat 13th Sept with 2 friends and they loved the food, the atmosphere, the wine, the service - everything.

Oh the food was divine, and nothing was a problem. We booked a table in the first sitting, and let the staff know that the child with us was Coeliac, and of course, no problem. they went through the menu with us and checked with the chef re the dietary reqs and hey presto , our order was taken. the starters were great, and then the mains, oh, the fish was divine of course! the waitress was so friendly and made sure we were all happy, and when taking our dessert orders checked again for dietary requirements, and there was no problem at all. Would def recommend here again, they didn't even ask us to leave our table after the first sitting, we couldn't believe the time flew and it was time to go. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Kilkee, we will be back!

We were staying in Kilkee on the bank holiday and came upon this restaurant by good luck! After a great chat with the owner our order was taken and our food came quickly even though it was a busy Saturday evening; I had the mussels to start which was a good size portion followed by the special of monkfish in parma ham in a delicious noisette sauce. My boyfriend had crabclaws follwed by scallops in a clam and mussel broth. We also had a lovely bottle of wine recommended which was recommended to us and went very well with our meal. The food and service was fantastic and if we're ever in the area again I would love to dine here again!
