I booked a table after reading lovely reviews of this little "gem". I really liked the girlie décor: cosy and warm but was disppointed to see only 2 tables of 2 German women on a Saturday nite;we were all one beside the others so that was weird. Anyway, our waitress was nice and efficient. My king prawn salad as a starter was really nice and fresh and I was looking forward to my seafood pizza....What a disaster!! I'm not fussy about pizza:Unlike some people I don't mind if the dough is thick or thin, but this was purely bread dough with no olive oil or herbs or any seasoning; the tomato base was almost non-existent and the seafood was frozen: that was the worst pizza ever!! The wine, desert and coffees fared much better so if you go to Primavera, please order pasta or king prawns but do not order pizza unless the chef makes a BIG effort to improve it!

Went here with my Mother and couldnt fault it at all. The starters were FANTASTIC, we ordered the bree and meatballs.. very tasty and hot, the meatballs were probadly the tastiest i ever ate. For mains we got gnocci and seafood pasta, FANTASTIC once again. The food was so good and loads of seafood mixed in with the pasta and the food was piping hot. We also had wine which was lovely and tea and coffee. The decor of the restaurant is lovely inside and very well priced for what we got. There was only 1 other table while we were here which was strange because the place is so nice. The waitress was lovely girl. I wish we had a resturant like this one in Tipperary :)

I have to say I was very disappointed with this restaurant after reading previous reviews. When we got there it was empty except for one other couple, which says a lot on a Saturday night! The waitress seemed a little unsure & I felt sorry for her as she told us she was having a bad day! I ordered the only bottle of Rose on the menu & I warn you now, unless you like drinking vinegar DON NOT order this - €19.95 down the toilet! Plus the online menu priced it at €18. Rip off! The waitress asked us did we want to order & I said I haven't read the menu can yu give us a few minutes & she smiled & went off. No joke literally two minutes later she comes back asking are we ready to order?! I said I've barely opened the menu can you give us a few minutes please. So she apologised & went off. So needless to say when she came back two minutes later I was shocked! I was so put off I ordered the first thing I saw on the menu - for starters I had the breaded Brie which obviously wasnt fresh because when I cut into it was still hard in the middle, I couldnt believe it! I sent it back & when I finally ate it it was beautiful, I love Brie, not normally frozen though! For my mains I ended up ordering the chicken Fajitas. The chicken was nice, nothing to rave about & the wraps were served cold and to be honest tasted a bit rubbery, I ate one & left the rest. When i think of it I should have complained! I go all the way to Ennis for a night out with my partner & get this substandard meal. I wont be going back!
We at Primavera Restaurant were extremely upset and disheartened when we read your review as we have never had to deal with complaints of this nature before. The waitress in question has recently commenced employment with us, since we have re-opened (after refurbishment) in February 2011, so we would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention. In regards to the wine price we are waiting for our website to be updated and unfortunately the wine is slightly more expensive in comparison to last year. We discussed the matter of "vinegar taste" from the wine with our wine expert. He confirmed that the wine was possibly oxidized causing the sour taste. We always encourage our customers to taste wine first to avoid situations like this, as we have no problem replacing a bottle. We would also like to apologize if you felt the food was not up to standard.

I visited this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. The restaurant is newly refurbished and looks great!! The food is homemade (including the pasta) and everything is made fresh. The menu has an excellent choice with something for everyone!! I ordered the Fettuccine Pasticiate. It was the nicest pasta dish I have tasted with plenty of sauce. It was perfect!!The prices are great and they are doing a happy hours offers between 5pm and 7pm, which is great value for money. The waitress was very friendly and extremely efficient. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and i will definitely be visiting this restaurant again!!

I visited this restaurant for the early bird menu. It had a good choice on the menu. When we called it was quiet but more people arrived later. The service was very good and friendly. The food was very good and plenty of it. We drank the house red which was €3.50 a glass with the early bird menu, which was ok.
