What a magnificent little gem of a place this is. Just along by the pier in Ballyvaughan, we wandered in to what is a little heaven of old world hospitality. A large table will first catch your gaze full of home-made scones, cakes, from luscious to scrumptious, cheesecake to die for, they are hard to resist. There's also an array of light lunches such as open sandwiches and warming soups or there'll be a special on such as a beef stroganoff too. The salads all made from locally sourced ingredients and taste like salad should do, fresh & crunchy. You can stay indoors or sit out in the conservatory amongst the many flowering plants. On a sunnier day, there's the garden too for serene peace and quiet. Stay long enough, and you could relax further with a glass of wine even. Do not miss an opportunity to visit here. The service and attention by staff is exemplary.
