Super value , super service, super value we've been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed, would highly recommend this for family or couples, the staff are hand picked and really know how to make you feel comfortable.

I liked the atmosphere here. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A great place for a romantic evening meal.

One of the nicest and most quaint restaurants I have ever eaten in. The cottage effect is very appealling and the ambiance of the whole place is enchanting. I go for the evening meal for Euro 60 for two with coffee and wine. Truely great value, from the welcome when you arrive, to the varied bread basket, the menu and the specials, the mouthwatering deserts, coffee, wine. The staff are most friendly, the restaurant spotless, well equipped ladies room and nice seating outside the door for a summers evening to take in the atmosphere of Bunratty village. Booking is advisable as I have been disappointed once and learned by my mistake. .

One of the nicest seafood restaurants.... The special menu of 3 course dinner for 2 plus tea/coffee and wine for €60 is exceptional value... The food is superb.. You can tell they really enjoy fish / seafood and this comes across in the dishes... The staff were lovely too and service was excellent... I will have to make another trip to Clare just to eat here...

Went with 5 of my family. One of whom is under ten. We had such a great time, food and wine really is amazing. What I really liked was that our younger diner was really well catered for. Can't rate this restaurant high enough :)

Went here for thewine and dine menu on a Sunday. Food was delicious nice fish goujon starter and Sirloin steak for main course, along with 2 glasses of drinkable wine. Steak was cooked to perfection and I got just the right amount of vegetables and potatoes with it. Staff were pleasant but maybe at bit rushed as it was possibly the end of there shift or at least nearly the end of lunch. Will definitely go back.

A constantly reliable restaurant with friendly service and good seafood specials. The country cottage look makes for an intimate evening.

One of the best restaurants I have visited in the past 12 months. This is fine dining at a reasonable price.

Went here for the early bird wine and dine menu. Food was delicious, could not fault quality. I had the mussels to start which were lovely, steamed in wine and served with just right amount of cream sauce. My companion had the chowder which looked creamy and tasty, plenty of fish, though chowder as a starter is a bit on the heavy side. We both had the swordfish for main course and it was excellent. served with rice and tomato jam. One word is that it lacked a bit of refinement, a portion of potatoe and veg was served also, this was not necessary and somewhat took away from the plate. I would have been happy with either potato or rice not both. The menu is very good for an early bird though the main menu is superior, perhaps a bit more variety or extravagance could be made available to the early dinner also? It is a reccession after all....Over all lovely ambience, if not a bit touristy and cottage like. Service was good but again refinement could be achieved instead of home style service. Would go back.

2 adults & 2 children-we ate here last night and what a lovely meal we had! Both the children & ourselves loved it. The staff were lovely and very efficient. We were made to feel so welcome even though we hadn't booked and arrived quite late. The meal was scrumptious - particularly the baked fillet of hake with the goat's cheese & beetroot crust. The homemade burger and sirloin steak that the children got were both lovely and so were the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was delicious and so were the profiteroles - chocolate sauce was dreamy!!! The meal was fantastic value and we will definitely be back!
