They serve a decent, no fuss breakfsat until midday which is always good. Their evening food is not bad either which came as a surprise as I never expected anything above standard bar food. Prawns were good and fresh. The staff is friendly and very willing, adding something or taking something from your meal is never a problem. Good pricing too, and it seem popular with locals whenever I'm there. Needs a major refreshing inside though, paint peeling off walls and one of the dingiest toilets I've come across in this country. Definitley worth dropping in though if you're passing by.

I often visit the Beehive on a Sunday for carvery with my family. The food is very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! The Chicken Kiev is delicious! The A La Carte in the evenings is gorgeous too. I often get the curry which is a triumph. The poppadums and the whole dish are just lovely. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Only thing that lets the place down is the interior of the place. It could really do with a make-over!

Been here a number of times for a tasty carvery, and have never been disappointed. The Owner Moriss is a great landlord and really looks after his customers, goes and checks if everything is ok, something you don’t see too often these days.

I had lunch here sunday before Christmas and it was terrible. We stopped for a sandwich. We both had a toasted BLT which sounded nice on the menu. When it came out the portion was huge, the presentation was nice with salad and crisps on the side. We thought one between two people would have been enough. Then we started to eat and the toast was burnt but it was soggy and cold. Neither of us could eat so we left and I won't be stopping for a sambo there again!

We went with the kids on the bank holiday Monday for evening meal. The food was excellent all round, the kids' meals were very good, the chips were home made and not bought in frozen. I had the best seafood chowder I have ever had in a restaurant. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly. The only minus was the walls could do with a good painting, their is paint flaking off.

Myself and my boyfriend had Sunday lunch here last week. The food was beautiful for a carvery. The only problem we had was with the seating. We ended up bringing our food out of the restaurant area and into the bar. Good value for money.
