Delicious - cant say anymore. Their surf and turf is just to die for - highly recommended - works out a small bit expensive but definitely worth a visit

Atmosphere was great, felt like we were in Italy. Great value for money as the portions were huge, couldn't even finish our meals. will definitely go back.

I stopped eating here a few years ago but returned recently to give it another chance. I am delighted that it is totally improved, the ambience and staff are lovely and there's a great variety even on the early bird menu. In the last few months I've met a friend with a small child for lunch, been for late dinner with my partner and have taken both of our mothers for midweek meals. The portions are great and even enough to fill the bottomless pit that is my other half! I hope they keep it up.

I eat here a lot & always enjoy it. My brother's first visit though. He's used to dining in top London restaurants, but thought the"surf n turf" was the best meal he had in a long time, mouth watering fillet steak, languistine & prawns with onion rings, seasonal veg & Bochelli's sauce{HE'S STILL RAVING ABOUT IT}. I had Baked king prawns with coriander, ginger, red chilli, garlic & sweet cherry tomatoes served with tagliatelli, pesto & homemade bread,{for dipping}all delicious as always! Although the restaurant was busy the atmosphere was still relaxed & intimate. The staff were pleasant & attentive. Very good value for money, considering the quality of food & service you receive here.

Ate here for late lunch after walking from Bray with some friends, stumbled upon it because other places were too busy, closed or closing. We chose from the daily special menu and had fish and chips and ceaser salad. Ordered string fries as stated on menu but chunky arrived. Looking back i don't know what i was thinking ordering fish and chips in an Italian restaurant so partly blame myself because it turned out to be awfully disappointing. The tartar sauce was less than tart - it tasted like mayonnaise with a few gerkins and capers chopped in and i do mean a few. The menu reads fantastic and builds up your taste buds expectations but the actual taste of the food that arrived wasn't up to par.

Went here for a bite to eat. Found menu expensive still. I had meatballs, which were tasty. Hubby had garlic mushrooms, looked bought in. I had a chicken dish, was mediocre, hubby had a steak which tasted funny, like it was cooked in a pan with fish (hubby hates fish). The steak meat seemed of good quality just cooked badly and no imagination. Service was mediocre, sometimes felt like they had forgotton us. Overall, we felt hard done by parting with our money and felt we should have stayed at home.

Great food, good selection for everyone in the family, great for kids or a romantic meal though if you want the later I would go a bit later in the evening. very popular with the locals, service is good, value is very good, I can always rely on a well cooked delicious meal from here and I can never resist dessert despite my best promises to myself before I walk in the door. The atmosphere is relaxing and demands nothing more from you than to enjoy your experience. We have been here several times and will be back again, the 10 year old eats the food (minor miracle) and the mother in law loves both the food and the wine, what more could we ask?!

Fair play to Bochellis for turning around what was potentially a poor experience in to a good one. A poor customer service experience was quickly and well handled by the manager. I have been here many times and overall, have thought it was good lunchtime place. The specials, although good, are a little expensive for a lunch, but the pizza (which have always been super fresh) is pretty spot on value. The kiddies menu is also great value if you have kids under the age of 3-4 as there is more than enough to share! We avoid the starters apart from the bruschetta (which is not a bruschetta but a lovely, light, pizza base with fresh tomatoes and a delicate garlic oil) which is fantastic value. Overall, in Greystones, for lunch time value with the kids, it will always be my first port of call

This was our first visit to Bochelli's after receiving a voucher and it definitely won't be our last. We were seated near the front of the restaurant as there were Christmas parties booked in and were seated at back of restaurant (and we would never have known they were there no noise carried through to us). The service was quick and friendly with just the right time gap between mains and dessert. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and just the right amount - he had the surf & turf special and I had the Sea Bream cooked in pizza oven - mouthwatering. It was a struggle to finish dessert but in a good way. Would def recommend (and have given vouchers for Christmas presents) since our night out.

Been here a good few times and never considered doing a review until the owner told me how hard things are at the moment. this place is great, service is fast and the food is always good, and always a joy. I bring my kids and mother twice a month, its very reasonable and the specials are great value. I think more people in greystones need to support hard working places like this, its fresh good quality food for good prices, just what we all want. best of luck Declan keep doing what your doing.

we go to Bochellis most weeks...plus maybe birthdays and know some of the regulars who we bump into, so it seems we are not the only ones who keep going back for more. Saturday we went with friends - I had the fried Suppli and we shared a garlic doughballs, and the focaccia - fantastic...lots of garlic, lots of herbs and the focaccia was about the size of a pizza! The Suppli was particularly tasty and is my favourite. For main I had the Jasonari pizza, my wife had a nice pasta dish and our friends had one of the varied fish specials. All piping hot and tasty. The staff are incredibly friendly and the house wine is more than acceptable.

Really disappointed with Bochellis.. It used to be really good but now a big disappointment. I ordered the dough balls for a starter and they were stale. It was like they had baked them that morning and heated them in the microwave that evening when I ordered. My wife ordered the suppli and it was tiny but really good. The main course arrived and we both ordered pizza.. Middle third was great but you could not eat the rest of the pizza as it was overcooked and really dry. My wife had a pizza too and she swears that the cooked the pizza earlier and just reheated but surly they could not do that could they??? Anyway I wouldn't go back as they are far to hit and miss and it’s a shame because the staff are really friendly, they just can’t cook very well.

Booked for a private party for 19 people. The owner gave us a very reasonable set menu with 5 starters and 7 main courses. The mains included 2 fish dishes, steak, chicken, lasagne and any pizza off the menu.As it was a set menu we were concerned the the quantity or quality may not have been as good as if we were ordering off the a la carte. We neednt have worried ..all the mains were very good portions and were complimented by everyone on the night. The food was piping hot despite the large number in the group. The deserts were lovely with banoffi pie and strawberry cheesecake being the most popular. The service was very good and relatively quick. We would like to thank all the staff for helping to make it a memorable night for us and we would certainly go back to Bocellis again based on our experience ..

We walked into Bochellis with no booking on a Saturday night and the waiter found us a table, instant thumbs up especially as the place was heaving. We chose from the early bird, great value with steaks included. Starters were grand, mine was a bit bland but otherwise good. Steaks for each of us for mains, cooked to perfection and presented really nicely. Delicious. Desserts were a little boring but were nice all the same. Service was great, really nice waiting staff who checked on us a few times. I really liked this place I have to say as did my boyfriend. We will return again if in the area.

I visited here last Friday with my family as we were looking for Italian food and had heard ok reviews. What a disaster! I can only assume this restaurant is still in business because of the limited Italian restaurants available in Greystones. The restaurant was empty which suited us as we had our baby with us. The first thing that raised an eyebrow was they have two budgies in a cage in the dinning area and I could clearly see a lot of birds mess outside of the cage, I'm sure there is a health issue here! Even though the restaurant was empty we had to wait ages for the sour faced waitress to take our order. She then proceeded to get our drinks order wrong for only 5 people! Then she forgot one of the main dishes and she forgot a side order of chips and when they did arrive we got steak chips and not shoestring. When we mentioned this all we got back was a blank stare!! Obvioulsy we did not leave a tip. To sum up do not go to this restaurant, the food, at best, is below average and the service is so poor it's virtually non existance. Save your money.

Didn't really enjoy our visit here. My friend likes this place a lot but really found it to be a cold restaurant and the tables a re too close together at the front. The food is expensive and the dish that I ordered was cool, prawns and beef, so not very nice. The wine list is not good either and expensive. I don't get this place, if it was a cheap and cheerful pizza/pasta place that would fit but it tries to cover too many dishes and doesn't do any of them well. and it is not cheap eitehr. Disappointing all round

I ate here last Sunday with my wife and 3 children, my 18 year old vegetarian niece from California and my 83 year old parents. Suffice to say, we had atrocious service - the waitress was far from friendly, making everything feel like a hassle for her. My vegetarian niece ordered a Caesar salad, without the bacon, and the waitress was muttering under her breath. Food was average, pizzas very limp and oily. Prices could be better. Service bad. I will return as I always give every restaurant a second chance. I hope my next experience will be better.

Drove there after reading good reviews and was disappointed. Pleasant atmosphere and service, but what about the food - have you ever tasted cold pasta? My child likes pasta most of all, but haven't eat there. Other food was ok, but in general it didn't worth driving.

Excellent varied lunchtime menu very well priced at 10 euro. The omelette was light and fluffy with a tasty filling and the chips were just right. My partner had the pizza board which was delicious and both meals were large portions especially for a lunch. Atmosphere superb as were the staff. Would definitely recommend Bochellis for both a quick lunchtime meal or a relaxed evening meal, as we have been there for both. We don't have young children but it was nice that there is a separate relaxed family area. Well done Team Bochelli. Keep up the good work!

We ate in bochelli's for lunch after walking around bray head, so we had built up a good appetite by the time we arrived there. I would recommend this place - very good value and serves good basic Italian food. It's perfect for lunch or a casual dinner. There are seats out the front too for the odd moments of sun....

This is a quality Italian restaurant with service and style to match, but not at any inflated price range. There's something for everyone on the menu and if you get a sunny evening, it’s a delight to sit outside on their wooden terrace on the Greystones main street and watch the world go by. The staff helpful and very knowledgeable of their dishes too, plus they made an extra effort to produce something different when my wife pointed out her food allergy problems with pasta and bread. I had the Focaccia starter which is only €5.75 but there was well enough for 2 on it; a very light pizza crust with a variety of herbs and black olives. Then the vegetarian lasagne for my main course was divine in its rich sauce and succulent pasta, along with my wife's extended chicken liver pate with port sauce dish with wedges & side-salad was Italian dining at its best. There's a new wine range too, and we settled for a €20 young merlot which was excellent. There was no rush to move us along either as other tables became free for new arrivals and we waited over 20 minutes before sharing a dessert, followed by coffee in the setting sun. Excellent experience, try it.

Went here with a friend and we went for the special offer of €19.95 for 4 courses. The atmosphere was lovely and we spent over 2 & 1/2 hrs there with no pushy staff trying to get their table back. It was quiet at the start but then filed up towards the end & both were lovely atmospheres. The staff were lovely & the food was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Called in here late on Saturday night after being in Dublin to see the match, myself and my companion only had main courses but must say will definitely be back again. Service was excellent, lovely atmosphere. Companion had a fabulous pasta dish with chicken and I had the pizza with rocket, parma ham, mozzarella and grapes which was excellent thin base. Will definitely call again

We visited for the first time, and found it to be a very pleasant evening. The staff can not only pronounce the dishes correctly, they actually know in depth what is in each dish and can explain the flavours. For entree we had the bruschetta which tasted as if the basil and tomatoes were freshly diced and placed on top of fresh bread.Main course and dessert were excellent too!!It was beautiful. Prepair for a delicious sampling of Italian Crusine served in a casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

I unlike the last reviewer thinks that €19.95 is great value for a four course meal (tea/coffee as last course or not!) The food here is great, always is. I had Lasange the last time I was here, Yum..I usually would have the pizza as its really really tasty too.

Although overall our Sunday lunch was not an unpleasant experience, there were too many small annoyances to call this a sucessful visit. The front section where we were seated was extremely cramped with the apperance of tables being literally on top of one another at very peculiar angles. The waiter who took our order was very stand offish but did manage to recommend the chicken stuffed with salmon mouse to my partner who happily complied with the recommendation. Both partner and daughter had mozerella fritters for starters and were very impressed (I wonder how difficult deep fried cheese is to get right). I had minestrone soup which was very over salted but still edible, unfortunately the meat lasagne was exactly the same - another bottle of water please good sir! Service was poor overall with the waitress passing the empty desert plates, which had been moved to the table edge for her convenience, three times. The deserts were, however quite enjoyable although the banoffi had about a half pound of cream on it. Once the majority was removed it was said to be good enough. Certainly would not rush back to this restaurant but at €19.95 for a four course (ahem, fourth course is tea/coffe) it is not bad value for very hungry heads if you are out for a drive or in the Wicklow area.

Tonight was one of our many visits to Bochelli's our favourite restaurant in Greystones. The food is always good, the staff are friendly and always helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Plus they have an extensive specials board which always seems to have several new special fish dishes to try. I often start with a home made Minestrone which is frankly the best I have ever tasted, while my wife goes for the Focaccia, which has garlic and black olives and herbs on it.... which is so incredibly good we wish it was a main course! It's worth the visit just for that! For main my wife often has a fish dish, or maybe the vegetarian pasta parcels( she isn't veggie, its just tasty.) I generally go for either the chicken ceaser salad which is stunning, or the pasta filled with meat...the name escapes me at present my apologies.....however I also love the "Jasonari" Pizza which is apparently named after one of the owner's sons. - but be warned...it is not for the faint-hearted!!! I am EXTREMELY fussy, having been in catering for many years in my "youth" ( I am now 44) so this is no mean feat to regularly please me...truly I complain so often at other restaurants my wife is embarrassed by me! And we recently discovered the excellent value of their lunchtime menu which I think continues through to early afternoon. And just last wednesday we tried their Earlybird/"Pre-Theatre" menu which was very well priced, We also went the the Greystones theatre bar afterwards which was surprisingly spacious and as it was a wednesday night, it had live music which was nice. Go to Bochellis....trust me. It won't disappoint. If you aren't happy TELL THEM...they are keen to please and will always pull out all the stops if you have an issue. I have watched in amazement at the patience of the staff with a disruptive child(there is a family area in the rear which is such a great idea) and the occasional demanding customer. Food, staff and atmosphere are terrific.

Went here for an early dinner on a saturday night. They dont seem to offer any sort of early bird so it was just the normal dinner menu. The food here is nice, 2 of us ordered the lasagne which was lovely and the other ordered a pizza which was fairly big. For 3 main courses and a bottle of wine it was approx €64, which was good.

For an Italian restaurant the offer the most bizarre menu for Sunday lunch. We opted for the 4 course menu for 19.95. Good value I have to say. There is a good selection of starters and mains. They offer traditional roast and non Italian food which seemed a little odd. The quality was ok, nothing spectacular.

Went to Bochellis & wont be going again... Resturant was cold. Gentleman serving us was not very nice. Got salmon with pasta... If i had 5 small pieces of salmon in it i was lucky. Also my partner got chicken dish was not told what comes with it... Had to ask waiter twice. Got bill & was over charged... No apology given. Wont be going back.

It was my first time here & I loved it. First impression was that the place was a little cramped as we were sitting near the door & people were constantly coming & going but the food is very tasty. There were 3 of us for dinner on a Friday evening & the service was great. We ordered a bottle of house white wine & it was lovely. We all had starters - 2 soups & a meatball dish & it was service promptly & was enjoyed by all. The main courses followed within about 20 mins which was great & again these dishes were very tasty. We had the medallions of beef, 10oz sirloin steak & the grilled chicken. We didn't leave any food behind. we didn't have dessert as the starters & main course were very filling. Overall it was an hour & a half & just under €100 well spent. We will definitely go back to this place!!

I've been here on a number of occasions and i have to say that on the whole I've found this place very mediocre. With regards to the food, the pasta has been overcooked (a rudimentary thing that you would expect an italian restaurant to get right), gooey pate to the point of runnyness and a ceasar salad that was just lettuce and nothing else. Pizza's are ok though but could do with more toppings. Service is generally pretty poor: having to go inside to ask for more drinks etc. and general rudeness. Prices seem to be ok though. A final gripe I have with this place is that I'm guessing they think the place is pronounced 'Boh-chelli' when in actual fact their spelling of the name would mean it's pronounced 'Bok-kelly's'. I'm assuming they're not italian...

I went to Bochellis last Saturday night, there were six of us, and we all had someting different. I had the chef special lobster dish, amazing!. There were no extra hidden charges for side dishes, and a very nice wine selection at reasonable prices. Well done Bochellis, we will be back!.

I went here last nite with a group of friends. The food was only average and I don't think it tasted authentic Italian really at all. Portions were a bit small as well. I had the caprese salad which was nice but a bit scabby with the mozzarella and was mostly lettuce! Then I had vegetarian lasagne which was nice also but I could mostly just taste tomato puree from it! The ice cream for dessert was the weirdest I've ever tasted, real powdery and fake. The reason why I won't be returning though is because the waitress was unbelievably rude. First she got my friends dish wrong and kept saying that's what she asked for and when she brought the right dish over she slammed it down on the table and was unpleasant to us for the rest of the night!

Went here for lunch over the June Bank Holiday Weekend. Despite it being busy, and us sitting outside, service was excellent. Food was lovely, though dessert didn't taste the nicest. We had a 4 course lunch for €20 per person - which we felt was good value. Will definitely go back there again.

I visited Bochellis yesterday (Mothers Day) and found the food delicious - our only problem with the visit was the service. We arrived at 4.00pm and found it was all very hassled and had to go to the counter on numerous occasions for knife and fork/to request menu/to enquire where our desserts were and the staff were not the most welcoming or friendly. We were at the restaurant a couple times before christmas and everything was perfect. But yesterday we were very disappointed and I think in todays climate a restaurant should be equipped to deal with days like mothers day and occassions like that without a change in service.

I went to Bochellis last night with my parents and my son and from start to finish we had a great evening. The staff were very friendly and the food was out of this world. We all ate something different from the menu and the food was excellent. I recommend the meatballs and my son said that it was the nicest Pizza he has had ever! So well done Bochellis we will definitely be back.

I love Bochellis, the food is really lovely, the wine flows and I really never know my own name when leaving. Its a wonderful meeting place for meeting either friends or family as there is ample room for fun.

I had dinner last Saturday.. I don't know why everybody keeps complaining about the food and the service.. My meal was very tasty and my waiter was a young and friendly green-eyed guy.. I booked for next Saturday and I’m looking forward to eat there again! Even though the atmosphere was great the only disappointment was the loud noise made by the kids in the back area..

Bochelli's has had a few hiccups since it opened, but it seems to have got its act together now. We were in there last week and were served by a bubbly, friendly, competent waitress [curly haired - didn't catch her name]. She's a credit to the place. Our duck confit [from the Specials Board] was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy-going. A good few children present, but they tend to seat them towards the back of the restaurant, so it was fine. Well done all! We'll be back.

I've eaten here twice, and have to say it's the best Pizza I've tasted in a quite a while. The first time we reluctantly entered, having been deterred until then by the presence of a flat screen TV in the restaurant, but when we asked to be seated away from it the waiter simply turned it off and offered us a choice of seating. Very impressed by that. Second time the service was a little slower but apologies were quick to arrive, and as we were having a leisurely lunch we didn't feel there was need to complain. They seem very family orientated, kids very welcome. Could do with a little more atmosphere though. But all in all good value and good food.

Bochelli's food wasn't even close to being fair for the price. Menu looked good, but when my chicken arrived, the sauce was okay but the fillet was dry, overdone and served with garlic potatoes with very cheap cheddar cheese on top. Dessert and I ordered profiteroles, classic simple Italian, unfortunately they decided to use what tasted like UHT cream and chocolate that tasted like an Easter egg from the two euro shop.

Bochelli's has a large menu with quite a bit of choice and the food is generally nice and tasty but the atmosphere in the place is a bit less than expected and takes away from the whole experience - it has a 'pub' feel about it which is fine in some places but here it just didn't seem to fit and the service was ok but not outstanding. At least the food made up for it though!

Good for a quick meal, food was ok but nothing special, didn't think there was really much of an atmosphere. Service was brilliant and good value for money though.

Went to Bochelli's, I thought the decor was very drap and had very cheap seating for a seaside town restaurant. It was I suppose adequate for bringing children there for lunch but I would not enjoy it as a couple. Food was basic nothing exciting.

Went for a birthday party with a group of 10 or so. Main courses arrived when still eating our starters and the whole meal experience was a rush from start to finish. Overpriced for VERY average food.

I like this restaurant. The food is fantastic and cooked to perfection. They have a very good choice and range of wines to suit all pallets. There are a lot of children in the restaurant up until 9pm and sometimes later. Don't get me wrong, if parents can't get a babysitter and still want to out, the restaurant will welcome this without any problems :) My only criticism is, there is a waiter working there, who was in another restaurant that has a bad attitude :(
