We had a fabulous meal here with our two children. We were in time to avail of the early bird which was €16.50 for 2 courses with glass of house wine for €3.50, unbeatable value. We had prawns and bruschetta for starters, both were great. My hubbie had the fish special which was sea bass and oven roasted vegetables, cooked to perfection. The rest of us had pizza's and they were really good. Kids had ice cream which was good quality and we had banoffee and tiramisu. The former was excellent while I thought the tiramisu was a little "mushy" but definitely authentic. The restaurant was pretty busy as well, which for a Monday night, is a good sign. My only slight complaint is that the waitress got the pizza toppings mixed up other than that it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it to other families or couples for a romantic meal out. We wish we were living closer so we could go back but if we are ever in Enniscorthy again we will definitely be making a reservation.

I went for lunch with 2 other colleagues and one of them had only the soup because there was no vegetarian main course option on the lunch menu. I felt disappointed because I involved them to eat here. Average service and food! Don't think will go back there again soon.

I ate here early on a Sunday evening & had high hopes as I read good things about it & love a good Italian. It probably wasn't a good sign when one out of the two occupied tables were eating their meal with their coats on. It was chilly in there & I left mine on my shoulders too. I thought mabe because it was only around 6pm the place needed time to heat up? My starter was simple but the tomatoes (one third of the ingredients) were not ripe. My main looked great, an aubergine & ricotta pasta dish. But when I tasted it I nearly cried, it was REALLY salty. I could only eat half of it & that was mainly because I was being treated to the meal as a surprise thank you & didn't want to seem ungrateful. He loved his meal though, so maybe I was just unlucky. I would like to give it another chance sometime though.

I would and have recommended this restrauant. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the food is fantastic. There is a great variety on both the food menu and the wine menu and the overall dining experience is relaxed and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

After a day enjoying Hook Head and Tintern we decided to drop into Via Veneto for a bite to eat on the way back to Dublin. I had a great meal there a year ago with my parents. Again it did not disappoint. The service was remarkably quick and the food was delicious. My boyfriend said his Capricciosa was the best pizza he had tasted in Ireland and my pasta was equally pleasing. For under 30euro I will definitely be going back if I am in the area.

Went there early for dinner last saturday with my husband. Waiters were very nice and helpful, and food was good even though it was a bit too expensive and there was no variety. However, we got very badly impressed when a waiter came to us, she was mortified and said she had been sent to tell us to leave because they needed the table!!! We hadn't received our coffee yet and had been there a hour. Table was not booked or at least they didn't tell us before, in that case I would not complain. We left straight away, didn't leave any tip and we will not go back there any more.

Went here for a friends birthday. It took us absolutely ages to order anything and ages for the drinks to come when we did order. The food was nice but 2 of us ordered lasagne and it was more like soup. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere but I would hate to see them cope if it was really busy. We were pleasantly surprised when we received our bill. I think I would try this restaurant again

Had a lovely meal here last night with my boyfriend. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good. I had the banoffi pie for dessert, huge! The mains are a little pricier than the pasta dishes but overall we really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning.

I love the food in this restaurant and my last visit was no different. Excellent starter and a superb main course along with the best wine list I have seen in Ireland made for a pleasant evening. The desert was not good however and again the staff should learn to smile ....... But no matter, I love it all.

I was eating here with my business partner for an "authentic" Italian dinner, surprisingly there were no Italian staff only Romanians but they was very kind and polite. We decided to eat linguine with scampi, and vegetarian fusilli for starter, the very strange moment come now, both the pastas are arrived within FIVE minutes, which is very unusual for pastas needed 11-12 minutes for cooking time!!! Anyway the linguine with scampi was lovely, but the vegetarian looked like made with steamed vegetables, but all two was "al dente". After we ordered one fish and one "saltinbocca",all two was very nice juicy, tasty absolute fantastic. The wine list is the most complete I ever seen in Ireland, was nearly half our to choose which one we like to drink. Overall we had a very good time there, except for the pastas, I think they using pre-cooked pastas otherwise it's not possible to make them in five min. time.

i am a very good customer of via veneto. i was there the other night for a meal with friends. the service was excellent. the location is great and the setting is lovely. the people were friendly as always but there was something different about the food. my favorite starter dish in there is the prawns done in garlic olive oil and chilli. i love them but the last night i had them i didn't like them. the sauce has changed its now of a thicker consistency and there are cherry tomato's in the dish too which i think are overpowering. i think the dish was superb the way it used to be i don't like the change to it. it has ruined my favorite dish.

One of the best Italian restaurants outside Italy. Food is splendid, all very tasty.Plenty to choose from.....great to get away from the usual Lasagne and spaghetti bolagnaise. Italian food is so much more than that!!! You must try the ravioli with smoked salmon in Persecco sauce...delightful. Waiting staff could be a bit more friendly.Maybe they just dont speak english??????? as neither of the two that came to our table had anything to say.....pity!

This please is great value and offers good quality food in a relaxed friendly atmosphere - what more could you ask for. The pasta dishes are authentic and tasty, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. I think this is easily the best place to eat in Enniscorthy, and without a doubt one of the best Italians I’ve had outside of Italy. The desserts weren’t quite as good as I’d hoped but it’s possible we made poor choices. I had the ice-cream which was more ice than cream and my friend had the tiramisu which was a little dry. Overall though, I would highly recommend this place.

Having booked a table for nine p.m. We arrived on time to be left standing in the middle of the restaurant for twenty minutes, with not so much as an acknowledgement by any staff member. When we were finally seated it took a further thirty minutes for our order to be taken. When eventually the main courses arrived one of the courses was incorrect. We were offered a replacement but at this stage it was nearly an hour and half since we where seated, at the end of the evening when we got our bill we where charged for the main course we never received. I would like to take this opportunity to say the service in this restaurant was the worse I have ever experienced.

An Italian Gem...Definitely the best Italian Restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to eat in. Staff really look after you, the food is excellent, full of flavour. Desserts are on display for you to see from the moment you walk through - & look (& taste) absolutely delicious...No matter how full you are after a fantastic meal; you will still HAVE to have a Dessert. I can't wait to go back.

I love this restaurant have eaten there four times and it just gets better every time. The desserts are out of this world especially the Bannoffie, its very authentic like you’re actually in Italy. It has a lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff and is excellent value for money

Beautiful food excellent service and reasonably priced. Overall it was an excellent dining experience. They have a brilliant menu maybe even a little too much on it, it was really hard to choose what to eat everthing sounded good! which I had so say I was quite surprised as I'm not a lover of pasta I didn't think I would have too much choice. They have excellent specials with a wide variety of very fresh dishes on offer. They also serve peroni Italian beer that is really lovely
