Well we seen the big banner passing by outside and said we would give it a go.We went in and the place looked busy and alive. We got our table that was dirty with crumbs all over the seats but just wiped them myself. No problem it was busy so understood that. We both decided on the Vegetable soup to start. When our two bowels of Bacon and Potato soup arrived we decided to say nothing and just eat away, Soup was ok actually just not what we wanted or ordered. I said id play it safe from then on and had the mixed grill. What a mistake this was. I was scanning the menu thinking what would be the safe bet but how I was wrong. This was the worst and most poorly presented "meal" ive ever had. The egg yoke was in bits and all over the place the black pudding was burnt to a crisp along with the two pieces of bacon that where in a ball. Sausages where over heated in the microwave and not very nice. My girlfriend had a sandwich which she thought was nice. It was a ham cheese tomato toastie. Overal a very lazy or sloppy way to send a meal out. Although the piece of steak on the mixed grill was very nice. Pity about everything else. Staff where very nice and good service.

Stopped here for lunch whilst passing through Enniscorty. They have a number of specials on in terms of lunch aso I decided to go for the soup and a panini for €10. The soup is lovely here every time I have had it and the mexican chicken wrap, which wasnt too spicey, was just the right quanity. If one doesnt get the deal the panini comes with chips. Again a small thing that many other restauraunts fail to do or in otherwise would charge you. My firend got the tuna wrap, said it was lovely. All in all a very enjoyable lunch and would recommend it for anyone passing throughe the town

We stopped here today for lunch on our way through Enniscorthy. How lucky were we. Four course lunch for €16.95 and it was excellent. There was a choice of starter, main course, dessert & tea/coffee. I had the veg soup and my partner had the garlic bread. Delicious. The garlic bread was home made and had butter on it - other restaurants who fob us off with the frozen stuff - please note!. The veg soup was home made & delicious with a side of brown bread & butter. That would've be a good lunch in itself but then the main courses arrived. Roast beef and turkey and ham with veg, potatoes & gravy. No gristle, no fat - just good quality meat & veg. I had the profiteroles for desset. My partner couldn't manage a dessert at all. I also saw someone else having the apple pie which looked delicious. It was busy for lunch but that in no way affected the service offered by the excellent staff. Everyone was asked if they had enough to eat or if they needed a tea top up. No one was rushed and the food arrived promptly. I'd go back to Enniscorthy just to eat here again. Well done everyone involved at the Bailey.
