We went here on Saturday nite based on the reviews posted on menupages. We went for the early bird - 3 courses at 25 Euro. My husband had the wings and the sizzling steak/prawns and I had the mushrooms and the rib eye steak. The wings were bland and the sauce on the sizzling plate was awful. The mushrooms and the rib eye steak were ok at best. The chips that accompanied the meal were not eaten. Desert was probably the best part of the meal. I was very disappointed and could not recommend it.

The best Steak House in the South East!! Situated in the centre of Wexford Town I regularly visit this Restaurant. Suitable for all types of occasions, night out with the girls, romantic evening meal or family dinner. Staff are excellent especially Fiona who just can't do enough for you. Food is scrumptious everytime with big portions. Great value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend!!!

have been to springsteens loads of times, generally as part of a group booking. its always been a great experience. the tex mex mushrooms and the Springsteens 8 Oz rib eye are amazing just to mention two.. they have a dessert to share, think it could be called the super bowl...OMG if you like desserts you'll love it! the last time we went they even made a coeliac friendly chocolate cake for the birthday girl..a really nice gesture..Go Chef :)

Myself and my bf and another couple visited Springsteens on Friday night. The other couple had been before and knew it was good. I'd have to say it was the best meal i've had out in ages. We went for the early bird special of 3 courses at €25. Our table was booked for 7.45 so I thought it was excellent that the early bird was still on offer. Between the 4 of us we had buffalo wings and garlic mushrooms for starters and rib eye steak and surf and turf (not called that on menu but you'll know what i mean!) for mains. Couldn't fault anything. Chips were home made thick cut spuds rather then chips and were delicious. Steak was so big, I couldn't finish it. For dessert we had a brandy snap thingy filled with ice cream. Delicious. My bf doesn't do dessert and for the laugh the other couple ordered him buffalo wings for dessert and that wasn't a problem! Service was fabulous, from the minute we walked in to the time we left. We were upstairs and there was a party of 12 or 14 opposite us but we could still have a conversation without having to shout. Can't wait to go back here again!

Having worked in restaurants/steakhouses accross the states for 9yrs. I pride myself knowing good steak/value and service. So on the advice of my good friend I arrived at this joint with 3 other hungry foodies. The place was buzzing and lively and we were promptly seated. The menu was vast with something for everyone. Straight off I observed a couple at next table eating Steak and Duck and it looked mighty good. To cut to the chase this place hits the spot perfectly. Steaks were cooked perfectly and sauces were home made. only down side might be the wine selection could be more varied but i guess with the market its aiming at the selection is fine. . Check this place out!!

Love, love, love this place, Hope Limerick gets a branch of this soon. I work in Wex and at every chance I get head to this place for the best food, value and atmosphere available. Whenever I have friends coming to Wex I love to bring them here. Just love the steaks and all the trimmings. Keep it up, great to see the recession not affecting you at all, but as saying goes "value and quality will always win out"

We are a family with 3 sons 18,17 and 14. We visit Springsteens at every opportunity we get when we visit Wexford. We love the fact that this place caters for adults and teens and combines both for a great night out. My husband reckons he is a great judge of steak and thinks Springsteens is unbeatable. I love their relaxed atmosphere while serving up top class food.3 course meal for €25 is truly great value. Get the surf and turf, I always do and leave the place totally satisfied and full.Good selection of red and white mid price wines. The boys love the Combo starters and the burgers and eldest lad loves the sizzler dish. Keep it up Springsteens, great value, food and decor. If going to Wexford DO NOT pass this place. See ye soon. Mary,Eugene and gang!!!

What a buzzing place! Myself and 3 friends ate here on a busy Saturday night and have to say we were very impressed! Had not booked a table but were asked to wait about 20 mins and seated at the bar. In under 15 minutes we were seated at our table menus in hand. The Restaurant was packed but service did not suffer. We went for the special menu at €25.00 and really enjoyed it. I had mushrooms to start and followed it with a steak cooked to perfection. Their sticky toffee pudding is to die for!!! Watching all the other customers enjoying cocktails we had to participate of course..... The atmosphere in this place is fantastic....even when its really busy you dont feel like people are on top of you. I would have to give it 10/10 for service quality and value. Cant wait for my next visit!

This place came recommended so headed there with husband and young daughter for my birthday. The 'special' menu was €25 for 2 courses which I personally don't think is cheap you can get cheaper (and better) in Dublin. I had Nachos and my Husband had Buffallo wings. Nachos were fine but not nearly as nice as ones I make at home myself, the metled cheese went cold quickly making for a lump of cheddar with some nachos attached! The 'buffallo' wings were plain wings - no coating - with a ramakin of BBQ sauce - they looked burnt and unappealing. Mains should have been better, we both ordered 'Softail Sizzler' and when it arrived it looked and smelled tasty, the steak was overcooked and dry and the sauce tasted like something from Uncle Ben himself. Desert was nice, I had a sweet waffle with Ice Cream and fruit and my husband had Sticky Toffee Pud which he devoured. While my daughters dinner was fine, I was extremely disappointed when we ordered her a desert. The options for her were a hot fudge or chocolate sundae, she chose the hot fudge, it was a bowl with two scoops of ice cream with a bit of sauce thrown on top - there was nothing sundaeish about it - not a bit of effort made, and at €3.25 it wasn't the cheapest two scoops of ice cream. We did tell the waitress - who was very pleasant - about our disappoinment after our main course - which we hadn't really eaten - but she just told us that she was sorry and that it was there most popular dish. No sign of her telling the chef or giving us a discount on the bill. That and a couple of beers came to an an awful waste of €75. I won't be back!

On recommendation, which was hugely surpassed, 8 hungry golfers headed here for steaks after golf in Rosslare. Place was fairly full at 8.15 and also present was 2 hen nights enjoying themselves no end. We had beers at bar and then sat. Ordered combination platters to start which was very plentiful and tasty. I had surf and turf and others had fillets and sirloins. Excellent steaks, far better than in most places who claim to be fine dining. Portions were a bit big but house cut chips and sauces were the real deal. Some had wine others had beer, one hen party was on pitchers of cocktails and said this was 3rd hen night they had there and loved the place.Overall food and wine was excellent, service attentive, atmosphere was buzzing but controlled and we 8 returned the next night. Some of us got on very well with hens!!! great spot.

We visited Springsteens based on the comments on Menupages and have to say we were HUGELY disappointed! The comments made with respect to the large room cannot be faulted, but the large room is no benefit when you are stuck in a drafty corner at the back of the room beside the smoking area door. This was despite the fact that we had booked in advance on a night when there were not many bookings at all. The food was below average, not only in taste but also warmth. The food came out luke warm, and was cold before it was even a quarter finished. The hostess was very polite and helpful when this was brought to her attention, but the chef did not appear to be happy. When your table is right beside the service area and the chef is taking his frustrations out on the plates it does nothing to help the atmosphere! W hen drinks were ordered from the menu it took more than 10 minutes to be told that these drinks were not actually available. When new drinks orders were made, they did not arrive until after the cold food had been served. I would like to say that this was because the restaurant was busy, but sadly this was not the case! The final point to note is that while most of the floor staff were friendly and helpful, the manger can be termed as nothing but rude, effectively encouraging our exit while there were still drinks on the table and others in the restaurant.

Lovely layout, friendly staff and a varied menu to choose from, the steak was lovely and burger was just right. Lovely chips as mentioned before and everything was very fresh, on the downside the music was just a little on the loud side making conversation a little hard, no chance of anyone overhearing your conversation yesterday as a previous review said. Also found the TV screens distracting but that could have been just me.

Springsteen's is a good addition to dining out in Wexford. Good, American style food which is nice but they could be more generous with their side orders, they give a small bowl of chips between 4 people which just isn't enough as the chips are yummy !!!

The chicken wings here seriously rival the renowned elephant and castle - what better recommendation.

Myself and my boyfriend went here recently. We had a lovely meal. Service is very quick and staff are very friendly :). Only bad comment is that the tables are quite close together the ppl on the table next to us were listening to every word we said!

From the outside this place looks like a small diner, but on entering the place, you'll find it a large and quite cool dining hall. We were starving after arriving down for a night out in Wexford and went here on recommendation of a friend. I ordered the ribs & chicken wing combo and the man ordered 1 pound burger. Both arrived with lovely side salads and one large plate of home made chips. The chips were gorgeous and freshly cooked. Ribs & chicken were cooked perfectly but the BBQ sauce they were coated in was tastless. BBQ sauce, in my humble opinion, should be smokey, sweet & spicy. This sause was bland and I was soooo disappointed. My man's burger was freshly cooked and was very nice when some mayonnaise was added to the mix. Great theme spot, friendly staff, and fresh food. Previous reviewer stated that sauces used to be 'thick and rich'... Yes please, bring that back!!!

I have to say I was very pleasently surprised when I revisited Springstens again recently!! I had had one or two not so great experiences here before and was reluctant to back again but friends of mine really wanted to go, and I'm glad I did. They have made a few nice new tasty additions to the menu & everything was served hot!! Which had been the problem before also I had found the sauces on the main courses in particular a little too rich & heavy but not this time. I was very impressed this time and am looking forward to go back again soon. The restaurant is a relaxed casual dining restaurant offering good filling meals at reasonable prices.
