Based on the highly successful city centre restaurant trading in South Anne St since 1993, Gotham South Restaurant & Cafe is a casual eatery serving good food in a laid back environment, starting with a light breakfast menu in mid-morning, lunch service commences at midday, carrying right though until late night with an extensive menu. Our Woodstone oven pizzas are famous throughout Dublin for over twenty-five years. Our pizza dough is freshly made every day, on the premises, using just five ingredients: flour, water, yeast and small amounts of salt and sugar. In addition Gotham South makes use of a specially imported charcoal-fuelled barbeque to produce our signature Gotham burger plus other specialities such as garlic roasted prawns, BBQ free-range Irish chicken and oven-roasted Thai-style sea-bass. Our concept is to deliver top quality food, at reasonable prices, in an unpretentious and casual setting. Gotham South is a neighbourhood restaurant where you can relax, chill out and enjoy yourself without feeling too worried about the size of the bill at the end! We aim to fulfil many needs, being suitable for a quick meal if you are on your way to the cinema or theatre, to a full three course menu with coffee when you are in the mood for a little more. Gotham Restaurant Group recently took part in the first ever Irish heat of the Global Pizza Challenge and won the Gold Medal. So now we are officially Ireland's Best Pizza as voted by the Panel of Chefs of Ireland. We will represent Ireland at the European Finals to be held in the UK in April - if we win that it's on to New Zealand in the Autumn.
