My Husband and I have visited the Chantry about twice per year over the last five years, usually on our way back to Dublin after holidays in Wexford. We always found the whole experience excellent. Food, service and atmosphere were well up to scratch. Apparently the Chantry changed ownership last Christmas, and we have visited twice since. We decided to give it a second chance and returned last August, and the experience was worse. The Food was cold and disgusting, the service almost non existent. We wont return.

A gem of a restaurant, the atmosphere and decor are very pleasing and the quality of the food matches. My particular favourite is carvery on Sunday.
