Haven't visited for a while but "The Ormond" is one of the best places in Dungarvan -nay -Waterford for fish and chips as well as everything else..Friendly staff ..great service ..tasty and properly priced food. Never been here at night but never been disappointed during the day..I love the fish and chips !!

Myself and my boyfriend visit this restaurant a couple of times a month and we are never disapointed, the service is excellent very welcoming and attentive even when busy i would highly reccomend the home made lasagne which is always beautiful, as are the home made desserts with a nice coffee. the only bad point i would make is that the toilets are not very pleasant i normally avoid them, we will keep going to this restaurant, keep up the good work

Myself and my partner decided to take a short spin on his motorbike from Clonmel to Dungarvan (don't worry we're not scary looking, no long hair, beards or tattoos - I don't want to put you off going). We were looking for a bite to eat and I am delighted we chose Ormond's. From the minute we entered the cafe we were made to feel very welcome, we were shown to a table for four so that we'd have room to put down our gear so that it wouldn't be in the way. We were told the specials and asked if we'd like to order a hot drink to warm ourselves up before we looked at the menu. Much appreciated when your fingers and toes are numb :o) We both ordered Lasagna and it is probably the best I've ever had. Gorgeous! We shared the Lemon meringue pie which was also delicious. The service was excellent and swift and the price was reasonable too. What more can you ask for - I advise anyone taking a trip to Dungarvan to try this place; I will definitely be back again.
