Rustic Stone’s philosophy is simple: tasty, nutritious, innovative cuisine that is accessible to all. Simple and scientific techniques are used to release the maximum flavour. Rustic Stone only uses the best of local produce, sourcing our ingredients from local producers (see supplier section). The exciting concept of stone cooking has been adopted by award winning chef Dylan McGrath. Dylan invites you to enjoy and experience his new concept in cooking, Rustic Stone. At Rustic Stone we create food that is as tasty as it is nutritious. Our aim is to allow people to choose what they eat in accordance to what they look for in a meal, without sacrificing flavour. We cook seasonally with olive oil, and nowhere will you find butter or cream in any of our dishes. We use lots of fresh herbs and salads grown by farmers we know and trust. We use organic produce where possible, always insisting on freshness. We focus on the positive virtues of different ingredients and draw out the flavour as well as the goodness from within.

Love what Rustic Stone is doing!! A cool and hip spot with some serious food on offer. Although a big deal gets made of the hot stone thing its actually really cool. There is no butter or cream in any of the menu and still tastes fantastic. Rustic Stone is for everyone. If you want to eat for 15euro you can, if you want to eat healthy you can, or if you have a dietry requirement they cater for you too. I dont eat healthy and spent alot more than 15euro but thought it was worth every penny!! The Big Big Lamb bruger is highly recommended!!

Went here last week for my anniversery dinner and what an amazing time. I had the Chilli Peppers stuffed with tuna and avacado, Truffle pasta for mains and a strawberry kickerbockerglory for dessert all of which were truly mouthwatering!! My wife had Duck & Beef Sandwich, the glamburgers and chocolate soup, we were giving complimentry prosecco on arrival and drank 2 bottles of a Sauvignon Marlbourough Leaf which was devine! The bill was very resonable and the service excellent with just the right balance of not in your face but on top of everything. I truly enjoyed my experience here and will return many times. I think what Rustic Stone is doing is new, innovative and its obvious certain people wont get it (I would say most do though as the place was packed on a Tuesday night!!)

Service and food at Rustic Stone are exceptional. I am a chef so I know what it takes to make something like Rustic Stone work. My girlfriend and I could not believe that although the place was packed and people kept coming everyone that I could see was seated quickly and left happy! Although the piece of Fillet I ate was perfect it is just that.. a Fillet! The real magic of what Dylan does best you'll find in the bites, the starters, the salads and the pasta!! I wanted to try everything. We both left stuffed, delighted with our bill and determined to go back very soon!!
