went here Sunday night and was impressed with the quality of the food.. good size portions and fast service.... maybe a bit pricey but a good meal out

We ate in The Ship as part of our weekend away in Waterford and were very impressed! The set menu is great value at €25 but be warned - the portions are huge!!! We started with a soup and a salad, for mains we both had chicken which was lovely and we could barely manage dessert but somehow managed to squeeze it in! Service was fast and friendly, definitley a class above most hotel restaurants!

Went for a trip to Waterford with few friends and really enjoyed myself eating in The New Ship. The service was fast and very nice. I have a steak with mash potato and a salad. Enjoyed the meal a lot. So did my friends. If we come to Waterford again, we will eat there!
