Went for a a light lunch to the Kazbar while doing some Christmas shopping in the city. The atmosphere was very friendly on entering the pub/restaurant and we were shown to our table immediately. The staff were very efficient but very friendly. I ordered the prawns in filo pastry with salad. The prawns were delicious served with a chilli dip and there was plenty of salad. The waitress also offered to bring some brown bread to have with my meal. My partner had the toasted chicken and stuffing sandwich, very nice. He also had to order the fries with bacon and cheese, which were excellent. Value was great and food very good. Will definitely be returning when shopping in Waterford city.

Had lunch in here and was pleasantly surprised. The beef stew was hearty, lots of chunky veg, very tasty gravy, and creamy mash, with more veg served on the side. Couldnt finish it. My husband had the burger and he thought it was lovely too! As it was quiet there wasnt much of an atmosphere but I'm sure it gets really busy at nightime

We went to this place for lunch on New Years day after driving down to Waterford from Dublin. All we were after was maybe a toasted sandwich and a cup of tea and that's exactly what we got although there was plenty of other options. The best thing about the place was the service, all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - maybe I am just too used to Dublin. I would definitely recommend this place for a light lunch to break up a day of shopping in the city!
