    We went back again and were very disappointed with both the service and the food. We had to ask for several items which should come as standard like a finger bowl, spoon for the rice, bucket of ice for the wine. Also, unlike on the previous occasion, there were no prawn crackers, starters were much smaller portions and the main course was definitely a cut down version of what we had had on our previous visit.It was still very tasty but a lot less of it.I would think twice about going back again as its not good value for money any more.

    went here with a friend while out shopping and i must say i probably wont be goin back. the waitress was very rude and we barely had our coats off when we were asked for our order. the portions were miniscule and even after 3 courses we were still a bit peckish. was very dissapointed as i had heard it was aa nice place.

    This is a truly awful place. Definitely the worst chineese I've ever had. Sweet and sour chicken was hydrogenated oil soaked chicken balls in batter with a gloopy sickeningly sweet sauce. I would expect a chef to put some imagination into the food thats served but this was just like you would get in a bad take away where they knew you wouldnt be back General grubby feel about the toilets. Service was pleasant enough in fairness

    On a weekend away in Waterford we decided to get a take away from Maxim House and werent disappointed. It was a Saturday night so we rang in the order and it was ready in no time. Food was gorgous and would reccommend this restaurant to anyone :)

    fantastic food with a huge selection, best noodles i have ever tasted! atmosphere wasn’t brilliant the last night we went but i think that it was just quiet. service was impeccable and it was quite cheap. Also they do have a huge takeaway menu that we use whenever we are too lazy to cook :)

    Food was really really really bad. I mean really bad. The service was lovely, really nice staff. But a few things on the menu for desserts that weren't available (simple stuff, like banana split etc) - we could have jelly and icecream, or nothing. This was with my other half and his parents, who are difficult to please (very picky eaters). Poor starters, gloopy mains, but then again, what did I expect... I remember going here years ago and it wasn't any different. There are a few really really nice Chinese restaurants in Waterford; this is NOT one of them.

    Blast from the past going here and it hasn't really changed in decor much, food is much like any other chinese but the service was excellent, well done on that.
