Visited here with three friends as we were heading for the theatre which is situated near by. The early bird is served from 5.30-7p.m. so therefore timing is excellent. We chose the early bird priced at €23.95 for three courses plus tea or coffee. We were delighted with our choice. The staff are professional, pleasant and extremely efficient, give it a try next time you are in Wateford city.

Situated in the centre of Waterford city, this Italian family run restaurant is a lovely place to visit. Very cosy and warm interiors make it quite relaxing. Only negative to report is the bad value for money for the early bird, priced at €23.95 for three courses plus tea or coffee, portion sizes are too small, maybe next time go for the a la carte instead.

My husband and I were in Waterford for the weekend and found this lovely Italian restaurant close to the city centre. Situated in an old world house, the exterior and interior of the premises are both lovely, very comfortable and warm. We chose the early bird priced at €23.95 for three courses plus either tea or coffee. Staff were very efficent and pleasant and had a lovely approach to customers. While the food was lovely, portion size is very small. Perhaps the management of the restuarant should look at this.

Found this restaurant on menupages and decided to go for the early bird. We booked our table for Saturday evening for 5.30p.m. The premises is lovely, very homely and cosy and staff are very efficient and friendly. However value for money for the early bird is not good. Priced at €23.95, for three courses plus either a cup of tea or coffe and although the food is tasty and well presented but portion size was very small. So maybe you would be better choosing from the a la carte menu.

Have eaten here as part of a large group and in a smaller group aswell and have never been disappointed. Food is a bit pricey but definately worth it! Only downside is its a little dark and from the outside I can never seem to tell if its open or not as its so dark. Would defiantely recommend to a friend - especially the prawn starter and anything from the cocktails menu!

Had dinner there with my wife last Saturday night and both of us availed of the early bird menu ( 4 courses) at €25 each and a bottle of house wine at €20. Food was excellent as was the wine and the service was spot on. We'll definitely be back

Probably the finest restaurant in Waterford, and without doubt has the best deserts in Waterford. Staff are friendly and help and cater for special dietary needs without problems. This is my favorite place to in Waterford and go there again and again.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me and I was glad he did. I was very impressed with it. The staff were very attentive and we were brought a taster of soup before our meal. I had the brushetta for starter and the ravioli for main course. The food was delicious, but although I'm usually quite full after ravioli, I wasn't this time and was glad to have ordered veg on the side. We had the chef's special for dessert, which looked and tasted great. Would definitely recommend it!

Consistently good, this is one of the best restaurants in Waterford, and arguably the best authentic Italian restaurant in Ireland. Service is sublime, attention to detail is fantastic, food is excellent, wine is well thought out and there's a good range (with good advice on hand for what goes with what), setting is gorgeous, decor amazing, lots of candles... Their bread is fab (and they'll always give you more if you ask). Very good about veggie, coeliac food, helpful with cranky in-laws who don't like garlic (yep, in an Italian restaurant) and their cocktail bar and private dining room are fantastic. All-in-all a wonderful experience. In my experience, equally friendly staff for parties, romantic-meals-for-two... you name it. I've been there again and again (and am going again, in another couple of weeks!) Highly recommended.

a lovely dining experience, we were late for our meal so could not avail of the lovely cocktail bar for a pre aperitif. The amuse bouche was prawn bisque which was not to my taste but a nice touch nonetheless. My prawns to start delicious as was my fillet of salmon. It was a bit pricey and the atmosphere more suited to romantic intimatic dining for two rather than three fairly giddy girls, but overall a very good restaurant and well worth a visit. Fabulous Georgian setting too.

I've eaten here a few times and I love it. Firstly the decor is so fabulous I'd live there if I could. And there's a gorgeous cocktail bar upstairs that opens at the weekends, so you can relax and sip a tasty drink before sitting down to eat. The food is sublime, it really is, I can't fault it. It's expensive but well worth it. And there's a large selection of delicious wines to choose from. I don't remember anything spectacular about the service but to be honest I was probably just blown away by everything else.

Excellent restaurant - definitely the best Italian restaurant I have eaten in. Food is sublime. Desserts are also to die for. The fillet of steak is always excellent. They also do a really gorgeous veal dish served in a lemon sauce. Wine list is extensive - a lot of the wines are imported directly from Italy so there's a lot of unique wines that you won't find elsewhere. Staff are very pleasant and knowledgable about the menu and wines. Very swish decor - it's a lovely Georgian building which has been restored with a bit of a modern twist. The only downside is that it's quite expensive but for a special occasion it's well worth it as the experience is of such a high standard.

Could not find fault in this excellent restaurant. I had heard much talk about it before i went and i must say it lived up to all the hype. Hands down the best piece of steak that i have ever had, cooked to perfection, my girlfriend had the beef and it was mouth-watering. Wine was lovely. The desert was futuristic looking and tasted as good as it looked. Can match any of the big dublin places that i have eaten in and at only 110euro for a 3 course meal for 2 excellent value for money.

I have visited here twice when on business in Waterford and would consider it the best Italian restaurant in Ireland. The sole on the bone and the prawn starter were sublime, the service was excellent & when I'm in Waterford next I'll be stopping in. A real find & actually authentic.
