Great food. Maybe a tad more expensive than should be. But can't go wrong.

In town for the Tall Ships and went along to Espresso on Friday night. Excellent pizza and pasta in a nice casual atmosphere. This is one of three restaurants in the Waterford area run by three brothers from an Italian family. The food was excellent and reasonable in terms of price. The staff were very friendly and I would go back on next visit.

Would get take away from here quite often and love it. They're always happy to cater to my random requests ( no cheese etc.) and have never had a bad pizza from this place! They fuller cater for gluten free food in both pizzas and pasta which can be very hard to find. Great value for money aswell - take away is offered at a 20% discount and theres also a student discount and a free pizza with 2 main courses, so all in all can be a great value family meal. If you go here make sure you get some garlic pizza bread - its to die for! PS: Its sister restaurant La Palma also catered for my friends gluten free requests with ease!

I love this restaurant- i've been here many many times and can never find fault with the service, food or atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and accomodating, it's family friendly and my 8 year old loves going here because he's given proper food (he doesn't like chips or junk). Highly recommended for anyone interested in good food.

A group of 9 of us came to Espresso on the bank holiday weekend. The food was almost faultless, but for my friend's main which tasted very odd - perhaps that's our own palate's fault though! The service was fine, though they were quick to clear away before the whole table was finished - this really bugs me as it makes other diners feel uncomfortable and rushed. I would come here again.

I came here with a hen party last sat and found espresso very very average, we had a great night and staff were great but the food wouldnt make you yalk about it, I had mushrooms to start, the usual frozen version I would say, then chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce with chips & salad, the chips were very greasy like chipper chips and the salad existed of one lettuce leaf with a bit of grated carrot, I wouldnt go back here if i was in waterford again.

Absolutely love this place. Went here for an 18th and food was incredible. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing and very private...the tables weren't all crammed together. This price was very resonable aswell. Will definatly be going back if im in Waterford soon. would highly recommend

I really enjoy eating here, especcially with a group of people. The atmospere is quite casual and the food is great, especcially the pizzas. I eat here a lot and always fing the service very good with very helpful staff. Also the takeaway option is great if you're looking for a healthier takeaway option.

Espresso is a sister restaurant of the nearby La Palma. It's a bistro style restaurant, quite casual and offers a wide range of lovely pastas and pizza. They also do lovely gnocchi which is my personal favourite dish. Good value for money and centrally located.
