Went here on a Weds night for an early bird. Was greeted on arrival & had the prawn with spaghetti & pancetta. Absolutely gorgeous!! Asked the waiter questions on how to make the sauce as it really was delightful! Very friendly staff & more than helpful. Will definetly be returning back next time Im in Waterford. Would highly recommend

Excellent beef carpaccio for starters. Seafood pasta w tomato sauce was ok but was a bit too salty and the prawns were a little dry. Tiramisu was tasty. Nice atmosphere and good service.

We were visiting Waterford with 2 guests from abroad. The lovely taxi man who kindly drove us around the whole 5 days of our visit recommended this place as he knew the owner. We were welcomed in by the owner himself, who was not only friendly but super helpful and clearly knew his stuff about Italian food and wine. We had starters, then primi piatti ie pasta, and fish for mains. Everything was nice, the seabass and the arrabiata were excellent. To finish we got a taste of Limoncello that was made in the family. I've only tasted Limoncello before from a bottle a friend brought me from Italy - the owner explained that any respectable Italians make there own because it does not taste right otherwise. I'll tell you, the difference in taste was unreal. Really delicious! I would recommend this restaurant warmly to anyone visiting Waterford.

I love this place, have been there before. This time was my hen night. We booked a table for 12 and had a ball. The food was divine, I had scallops to start, then a huge portion of tagliatelle with chicken and wild mushrooms. The staff were great, I didn't order dessert as I was stuffed, but they brought me ice cream with candles and gave me a 'Girl's Night Out' sash! (They also did this when I was there for my college graduation 2 years ago) The restaurant was full, but not intrusive, ambience great. Emiliano himself even stopped to ensure all was going well. Definitely recommend it. This wonderful restaurant kicked off my Hen Night in great style, and our entire group has been raving about it since!

Had the early bird here on Friday night, plenty of choice, I had bruchetta which was very flavoursome and also pasta with Mediterranean veg, huge portion, for dessert and pancakes with lemon cream cheese filling and ice-cream I wasn't sure what to expect but the combination of the creamy cheese and the sharp lemon within the pancake was delicious. My friend had soup and chicken and the tiramisu and was very satisfied also. The restaurant was full at 7pm and the atmosphere was lovely as there was a buzz of chatter but it wasn't intrusive. Overall very enjoyable.

On Sat last, A group of 6 of us went to Emiliano's restaurant as we have done on many occasions. Unfortunately instead of moving with the current climate this place is moving in the opposite direction, the food was to say the least average, and we all felt like this, but I think the worst was when one of our party had ordered for his main dish a dish he has gotten on many occasions mussels and risotto, his dish arrived with 4 mussels, as I say he has got this dish before and it always had at least 10 mussels, when he brought this to the attention of a member of staff, he was told they were short of mussels that night, but to our horror he was still charged for a large dish @ €14.50 We will not be returning again there are too many great restaurants in Waterford to waste money going here.

Called in here on the way home from dublin, we were famished & the staff accommodated us no problem. Had croistini to start, the toppings were delicious but the bread was rock hard, i was worried id break my teeth, i know its supposed to be crunchy but couldn't even bite through this. Heard other people complaining about this too. Staff were not overly helpful. Had the black sole as a main & this was gorgeous, definately no complaints! Overall was slightly disappointed with this meal but perhaps just a bad experience so will definately be returning. Also in the current climate feel the prices are just a tad high as E25+ for main courses seem excessive when other places are offering three courses for that price.

Very good. First visit to Emiliano's for a quick early evening dinner for two. Gnocchi and pizza were chosen. Both were very substantial and tasty. The gnocchi was impressive with a good sauce, fresh mozarella and basil. The dining room was pleasant to come into out of the harsh winter weather, I would expect it to be a bit more atmospheric later in the night. Looking forward to returning again.

I love this restaurant, I've been here twice before. The staff are always lovely and very helpful. I had the goats cheese starter which was delicious and then the pasta with prawns and spinach. It was a huge serving, really tasty, tried my best to eat most of it as it was so good. I had no room for desert! Would definitely go back, it is good value and has great food.

Great restaurant where everything is tasty! The scallop starter is fabulous. Everyone in our group was pleased with what they had. Ask for a table upstairs for more comfort. Enjoy!

Absolutely love this restaurant. It's our number one choice when dining out. The staff are friendly and professional, always remembering us, even down to our usual choice of wine and that my mother is a coeliac. Portion sizes are substantial. There's a great choice of dishes.

Went here for brothers birthday dinner. Fantastic food and great atmosphere, something special about the place. However not all dishes were consistent with this review and is perhaps a bit over priced for quality of food by comparison with other restaurants in the city.

Had christmas party at Emilianos with a party of 20 people upstairs. The food was good but it took a long time for the it to be brought out which meant that more wine was consumed! There were two menus to choose from, menu A at 32 euro & menu B at 45. There was no red meat on the cheaper menu however which was noticed. Otherwise the party was a success.
