Arrived in the dining room at about 7.30pm and was promptly seated and menus provided. I ordered a sirloin steak and a half bottle of wine. The main course was tremendous, a beautiful tender steak cooked to perfection. This was a superb meal and although the dining room was busy, i was under no pressure to leave the table, in fact I had a second half bottle of wine. This is a restaurant that I will be returning to sample more of teh excellent food, when I am in the area. Whoever is responsible for the management of this establishment can be very proud of their work and their excellent staff. I also had breakfast here on two mornings and again excellent. Well done to all.

Visited The Tower Hotel for a getaway break, 3 Adults & 2 Kids, we booked the Bistro for dinner and as we had our starters the kids had their mains, the kids menue is excellent my kids had the beef with potatoe & veg, very little was left & the beef was melt in your mouth, my 6 year old even cleared all her veg & potatoe. The seafood chowder was tasty and not too heavy, my mum had the melon which was served all very promplty. Myself & my mum had the sirlion of beef which was melt in your mouth, and all the veg & potatoes were cooked perfectly. The service was excellent & my mum has a wheat & cheese allergy, when we stated to the waitress she came back & confirmed all the sauces & gravy where wheat free, to the delight of my mum. So she could eat almost everything on the menu. For a hotel the food is top restaurant quality & service was very good. Tried to get in on the saturday night but the Theatre was on & they were booked out till 8.30 which was a little late for the kids, so we opted for the lounge again the food and service where very good, & staff really looked after the kids, we even had our lunch there the day we were leaving. Hat off to food & staff at the Tower Hotel, highly recommended for families, Kids & couples. Will be back!

Have eaten here on a couple of occasions and have to say I am a big fan of the E59.00 meal for 2 incl bottle of wine. It was great to go to a restaurant where I could have the option to take the wine home or leave it out altogether (with a discount) as my fiance does not drink. The food is fabulous , staff very helpful, my only holdback is the atmosphere can sometimes feel a bit overly quiet. Otherwise generally fully enjoyable.

As we stayed in The Tower Hotel, we were keen to try out the Bistro. Their Wine and Dine offer for €69 per couple was a good offer. We had the chicken and apricot and lobster terrine as starters, Roast lamb and roast beef as mains, Profiterole and cheesecake as deserts. The bottle of red wine and finally coffee and tea were excellent to soak up the whole meal. The service in the Bistro was very attentive and prompt.

Dinner for 22 here on Saturday night. Food was seamlessly served, with no huge delays. Pleasant and friendly staff, and there was something on the set menu to suit everyone. Apple Crumble for desert was yummy too. Would recommend this restaurant if you are close by, and its ideal if you are staying in the Tower Hotel.
