I visited the pine rooms with my brother and a friend on Friday evening and all three of us found the food, atmosphere and service wonderful. We ordered off the early bird menu which was available all friday evening. This menu cost us 25 euro per person for three courses and tea or coffee. We all had a caesar salad for starters which was delicious.I had salmon with parsley butter for my main and this dish was cooked perfectly. My friend had a sirloin steak and she said it was the best steak that she had had in a very long time. For desert I had a truly scrumptious lime cheesecake. The service throughout the meal was exemplary.I will definitely be visitiung this restraunt again soon and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

As a town in love with the chip, Tramore has few good restaurant options, but the pine rooms is the only consistently good place. As a result I eat there regularly and appreciate the high quality, traditional Irish food. The menu has not changed since the place opened in the 1980s, but when it works it works. The service is of a very high standard with attentive motherly types doling out endless refills of veg. Wine choice is limited, and the house wines are probably the best option depending on what you are eating. Prices never rose dramatically in the good times, and match other Tramore places going for the same clientèle, but the Pine Rooms does offer a nicer experience. Best tip- try to get a table in the two front rooms rather than downstairs.
