Visited Esquire for Sunday lunch on a beautiful sunny day in Tramore. The atmosphere in the pub is lovely with lots of interesting bits to look at and glass topped tables with items such as pictures and articles underneath. The music was a lovely mix of old country such as Dolly Parton and new country like Garth Brooks. It did take the waiter a while to come back and take our order and the pub was certainly not packed. I ordered the hake which was cooked perfectly and came with a lovely salad (sadly the chips were a touch over done). My boyfriend ordered the Venison and Sausage Stew which had loads of meat and was beautiful. Id certainly reccommend the restaurant and will be visiting again. Main Courses at lunch time were only €10 and there was plenty variety. Id certainly say it was good value for money!

Visited Tramore recently and popped in for something nice to eat in the Esquire. The whole experience was not good from the start. The staff were very slow at taking orders, bringing food out and were not friendly. Food itself was very very very over priced for what you got. I ordered fish and it was very average, nothing special. It came with cold vegetables too which was very disappointing. Overall I would avoid this place, there are much better alternatives in Tramore.
