Port House Pintxo, Temple Bar

Port House Pintxo is the sister restaurant of The Port House on South William Street which has been enjoying a very successful year since its inception in July 2006. The eagerly anticipated Port House Pintxo will serve an array of tapas and pintxos as well as an extensive range of fine wines, ports and sherries. Located at 12 Eustace Street this beautiful candle-lit, bodega style tapas bar is spread over the ground floor and basement of the building with a seating capacity for eighty people. Expertly trained staff will be on hand to help you choose your wine selection from the shelf while sampling the different types of pintxos and tapas. Wines from the Rioja, Navarra and Getariako Txakolina regions of The Basque were sourced by the management team at The Port House and Port House Pintxo, with unusual wines such as Txakolina and ports such as Dow’s Fine White Port being firm favourites of customers. Over thirteen different ports are served by the glass and signature dishes of Port House Pintxo include Pulpo a la Gallega, an octopus dish and the traditional Spanish paella dish served with either chicken or seafood.

Having been in Pintxo's a number of times I wasn't surprised that once again the food and atmosphere in Pinxto's was superb. The bruschetta was crispy and perfectly seasoned. The potatas brava was delious and as for the sangria it was the best I have ever had. The price was great too. Delicious food at the right price. Would recommend eating there to anyone.

Been here a couple times. Lovely to sit at the patio in the back (although the (hot) airconditioning could be turned a bit lower imo). Food is always delicious. This time me and my friend shared 4 dishes, which was plenty, we couldn't even finish it all) We also had the loveliest bottle of wine. Will be back - think it's the best tapas in town!

Some of the tastiest food we've eaten in Dublin and definitely the best tapas. Atmosphere and service is very good. Solid value too - 6 tapas (all beautiful) and a nice bottle of wine for 55euro
