The Atrium Lounge, City Centre South

Sit beneath clear skies by day and a canopy of stars at night in The Atrium Lounge, an inspirational haven with it’s five story glass ceiling. The large palm tree and replica balconies give the impression of sitting in a Georgian courtyard, a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Relax and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea or sample any of the items from the all day food menu available into the evening seven days a week.

This has to be one of the nicest places in Dublin to chill out for a while! It's so quiet and comfy - lovely sofas and chairs. The service is top class. Not cheap for a cup of tea though! (My herbal cuppa was €4.50 I think). They serve biscuits with all tea and coffee which is a lovely touch. Given how much I was paying for the tea I would've expected a nice quality tea, but it was just a regular teabag. It is pricier than your average cafe, but in my opinion it's definitely worth it for the gorgeous atmosphere and the great service. A nice bit of luxury at a relatively affordable price!

This is a great little find in the middle of the city centre. The Atrium is lovely and bright and spacious and very unusual in that you sit in the bar and the internal hotel windows are above you, very quirky and interesting space. I have had coffee and dessert here and their apple crumble is mouth watering. A great little spot for a quiet chet with a friend.

Had a lovely Christmas Lunch meal here that was very reasonably priced with my boyfriend. We wanted to go on Christmas Eve but didn't like the idea of a Buffet and prefered the table service. It is was our second visit to the restaurant and the staff are great and very friendly. We both had the lamb shank for a main which I highly recommend. I had the smoked salmon starter which was lovely too. Will def be returning again.
