Ate here recently before a show in the grand canal, nice greeting on arrival. Overall the food was very good , the only negative was the caprese salad which was served on a side plate and with not so ripe tomatoe, the waitress we dealt with was very friendly

Ate here as part of a deal staff are excellent so attentive starter and main were really good but as a vegetarian would be nice to have had more than one option for each course, only negative was the dessert of pavlova that was served in a syrup that was way too sweet

Ate here on a very Good Friday, we ordered the soup to warm us up, it was a major disappointed absolutely scalding and lacking any flavour.
The pizza for main was delicious, feta and cranberry went so well highly recommended

Bad and Good Points following visit
Found the staff very friendly and pleasant,food nice but portion very small
We were presented with only an early bird menu following our arrival no a la carte available, not a lot choice on the early bird and and items were not individually priced did not like this, orded a mushroom dish for starter which was very nice but the portion were not generous at all and the veg daal for main while again nice the portion was small, both dishes were served with bread if not I would prob have left hungry, at 2 course for €20 felt like this did not represent good value. I think for what I has 14 or 15 would represent better value
My dining partner enjoyed the ribs and the seabass but again portion was on the small size.
Would not be in a hurry to return given the small portion sizes and didn;t think the early bird represented any value and didn't leave the place hungry as my two dishes were served with bread

Go here quiet regularly great place for a nice relaxing meal and a drink. The food is very good the potato and leek soup was very tasty and the pizza was great only thing is maybe the menu needs more options, the only negative would be sometimes the service can be a bit slow. The waiting staff seem to divide there time between cafe and the restaurant so you might be forgotten for a while

Went here for a family lunch few wks back, we used to go frequently but not in a few years, could not fault the place, the service was excellent and very friendly, the veg soup was very tasty as were the garlic mushrooms for mains. The whole family had not a bad word to say about the place, well worth checking out for sunday lunch

Went here with a grabone voucher the other week, like always I can't fault this place the staff are fantastic, the service is quick with the just the right amout time given between courses, this time we had the suppli and fish cakes for starters which were really good both served with a lovely salad
For mains we had the ravoli and pollo toscana which again were really good. The portions are good you'll never leave here feeling hungry
Already looking forward to returning

This place was recommended to by a few people so decided to check it out,
we ordered from the early bird menu which looked like good value, we both ordered the soup for starters and thought it way to spicy for our liking served with a minute piece of toasted bread which was like biting into a piece of rock,
had the tortellini for mains which i didn't like, more a matter of taste than anything i'd say

Gone here a couple of times over the last few months, can't fault the place, the location is perfect just off grafton street, the food is very good, afforable, the creme brulee i had there recently was the best I ever had.

Overall a negative experience and can safely say we will avoid returning to this place in the future.
Our main problem with this place was the staff,
Within two minutes of been seated a waiter was over to ask if we were ready to order and was not at all impressed that we were not, barely even glanced at the menu at that stage and was back a minute later to ask again
When taking our order the waiter seemed to me to throw his eyes up to heaven when we dared to ask for a substitution on one of the pizzas we ordered (surely not a big ask)
When paying the bill, my partner choose not to leave a tip via his laser card (prefer to leave a tip in cash), the waiter asked my partner TWICE was he sure that he did not wish to leave a tip, we both found this extremely unprofessional. We did not leave a tip in the end.
The above was not limited to one member of staff but a different waiter each time.
The pizzas while generous in portion were average and in our view too expensive.
The only positive is its proximity to grafton street but there are 3 other Italian restaurants close by so will be trying those in the future.

My self and a friend are regular visitors here for lunch. On a recent visit we arrived at half 12 to find that there was only two other diners. Grand we thought, we won’t be waiting too long for our food, we promptly ordered, thinking that we would be waiting 15mins max for our food, after 20mins of waiting our waitress informed us that the chef had forgotten our order. Incredulous we thought, given that there was only 2 other diners in the place. We eventually got our pizza some 35 late minutes accompanied by a free bowl of wedges and a gracious apology from our waitress.
We have eaten here many times; we never have any problems with the food which never disappoints (you got to try the pizza pesto). It’s the service that always disappoints. On the odd occasion they do get both right, but sadly not that often which is a pity cause it has so much potential as a venue if they sorted out the service issue.
