I was very disappointed when I visited Gordon Ramsay's. Firstly, I don't think it's HIS restaurant he's only there a couple of times a year,if that, because if he was there, it WOULD be 5 star quality. On arrival, as it was our first time there we weren't sure if we were in the right place but we were met by a rather sarcastic & rude manager who told us "obviously we were in the right place" as he pointed to a small plaque on the wall! Our waiter told us he was French but when spoken to in French he didn't seem to understand what my friend was saying. His service left as lot to be desired. The food was delicious however we spent €300 per person and I don't think the standard of the food or the restaurant warranted such a substantial amount. I have been to Petra's and Claridges in London and can't praise them enough as they were faultless...... Maybe Gordon needs to spend some more time in his Irish venture!!!!!!
