D'VinePosted on 12 October 2010
Fabulous Fabulous and fabulous is all I can say about D'vine was in it Saturday night with 10 other ladies and it was only excellent... what a selection of food to choose from .. I have to disagree with your previous review saying one must like PIZZA to enjoy the food, out of the 11 of us one person had pizza and throughly enjoyed it.... such a variety of starters, we had a selection of starters, garlic bread, goats cheese salad, salmon, mushroom bruschetta, our mains we went for the fabulous 12 oz rib eye steak which was cooked to everyones satisfaction with fried onions & homemade chips, hake, duck, chicken wrapped in bacon ... desserts where had also and they also had a great selection of wines, but unfortunately ran out of my favorite one !!!! overall a great night had food excellent, service wonderful and great value for money !!!!! definitely will be back sooner rather then later..

Black Bull InnPosted on 01 September 2010
Visited the BlackBull for a birthday party lunch with 18 people in total over the weekend and we had a fabulous time, the food was top quality and the service was excellent trying to serve 18 people at a time is a challenge but the staff served everyone together and extras if needed.... we all ordered off the set lunch menu which had an excellent variety from fish, chicken, turkey ham etc., suitable for everyone taste.... for 18 people for food only as we keep a separate bills for drinks but the food bill came to 266.00 which I think was excellent for the quality of food that was served to us, great value for money and definitely worth a visit, this is a very busy place so you might have to wait but well worth it, booking is advisable

The Ivy Brasserie (Dunboyne Castle Hotel)Posted on 01 September 2010
I went to the Ivy Brasserie on Sunday evening with 3 friends and we opted for the Early bird menu @ 24.95 and what a treat ... great selection of starters 3 of us went for the caeser salad and one went for the salmon ..we all had the steak,a supplement of E5.00 was added but well worth it, the steak was fabulous on a bed of spinach with homecooked fries we ordered extras but did not realise that the mains were accompanied with a selection of vegetables and baby boiled potatoes, a selection of 4 desserts where on the menu we went for home made apple crumble which was just beautiful, we had 3 glasses of the house wine at 6.50 per glass and water our bill total came to 154.00 which we all thought was very reasonable for the quality of food we received overall fabulous food, fabulous decor a little quiet, excellent service and staff where very pleasant and friendly

RelishPosted on 24 February 2009
Was out for a lovely stroll on Bettystown beach on Sunday and decided to pop in to Relish for Brekkie... thinking it would be quiet!!! how wrong was I, it was packed as we had to wait until a table was vacant....went for the full Relish breakfast which was lovely but I thought a little expensive at E10.00 orange juice etc., extra... overall it was nice, seaview fabulous especially on a beautiful Sunday morning....

Eastern SeaboardPosted on 23 February 2009
What can I say about the Eastern Seanboard it is just fabulous...went on Saturday night (3 time visiting this place) and yet again it was fabulous.... such a
variety and brilliant selection of starters and main courses. What I really like aout this place is that the lunch and evening menu are priced exactly the same..... the staff and surroundings are excellent... great selection of wines but of course I was looking for a Rose which wasn't on the menu so settle for a nice white wine..just ok don't think I would have it again....starters fab we both went for fish cakes and fillet steaks for our main on my previous two visits I have fish for my main, swordsfish and haddock both beatuiful...I love the complimentary loaf bread but I think this is only complimentary on Saturday evenings as when I went the previous Sunday I didn;t receive it, overall I just love the place and will be back very soon..booking is a must or else one will be very disappointed.....
