Been going to the Sichuan for many years and it only gets better. The staff run a tight ship and service is tops. Have taken Chinese business people on their first visit to Ireland and they said it was better than any other Chinese restaurant they had visited in Europe or the states, Praise indeed.Still miss the old venue even though some called it dingy and definitely now a lot more expensive and to be used on special occassions unless your on generous expense account

Have now visited Gong four times and really like the place and the servive is first class and the host is excellent. Food very good try the monkfish and pakchoy. service much quicker and much busyier Their 25euro dinner is without doubt the best value in the area and maybe Dublin . In these difficult times we need more places like the Gong

First visit to Harbour Rd was spoilt by a rowdy crowd at an adjoining table but we were impressed enough to give it another try.
Just as well because it was excellent. Seafood chouwder was great as was the surf and turf and the best lamb we have had for a long time. Monkfish was praised by our guest and the price is about right and a lot better value than places not nearly as good.

Took two English visitors to Swords and due to reviews on Menupages chanced the Courtyard which I had never heard of. It was excellent and they both were glowing in thier praise as indeed were we. Best value early bird I've had and it's a pity it's not on the south side.

Even though I live in the area was not aware of this little gem until I read about in menupages.ie Three of us went on a Sunday evening and although full our table was waiting ( we had booked) lovely smoked salmon and great pasta and excellent steak with good value wine made the visit a worthwhile experience and we'll be back
