I ate here last night with my boyfriend and daughter, the food was delicious but the service was attrocious. The waiters were rude and you nearly felt like they were doing you a favour by serving you! We both had the bruschetta to start which was delicious and a very genorous portion. I had the sebass for main which came with an unusual concoction of soggy saute potatoes mixed with cabbage and onions. My partner had the carbonara which he concluded was the nicest he'd ever had. Overall the service let this place down, wont be going back any time soon.

I visited Darwins on a thur afternoon for the lunch menu and I was far from dissappointed. I got the fish and chips and I could have sworn the cod had just been caught that morning, the chips were a little overcooked but tasty none the less. The service was perfect, the price was reasonable for what you got and the bread and butter pudding with the baileys toffee sauce was the perfect ending to a delightful lunch.

I've been to this place on a few occasions and it can be a bit hit or miss! The chilli pecos and chimichangas are very tasty and their guacamole is the nicest I've ever tasted but at 3.50 for a little tub its a bit steep! The fajitas are bland and tasteless and the service can be on the ropey side. The last time I went as I was the only customer their I had to listen to one of the staff members drone on and on quite loudly about a "bad" customer they'd had that previous saturday which kinda left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

I cannot emphasise enough how disappointing and overly priced this place is. Went with my boyfriend one sunday evening, I had the chicken burger with avocado and bacon..big als would have been nicer! He had the mexican beef burger..tasteless is an understatement. The milkshakes were just like a glass of milk and the staff were the worst I've encountered. Avoid this place like the plague!!!!

I have only ever eaten here twice and I would not set foot back in the place again. We had the same waitress on both occasions and she was lazy rude and generally unhelpful. The food is average, the pub itself is nicely decorated and the barman was very friendly. I dont expect michelin star service with bar food but general courtesy would gave been nice this place is majorly lacking in good customer service.

I have fallen in love with this place, swords badly needed a place that serves a delicious variety of food. Afternoon tea for two is great value and you will definitley be full for the day. The cheesecake is highly addictive and you'll definitley keep going back for more. The staff are very friendly. A little gem of a place.

If you are looking for unpretentious tasty reasonably priced food then peacocks is just the place. I am a regular to this place at I do not have one complaint. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is always welcoming and warm and the food always hits the spot. Ive never strayed away from the steak as it is a steakhouse and that's what they do best, the portions are huge and the meat is always tender and perfectly cooked. The barfood for lunch is just as nice.
