I live in the neighbourhood and a friend told me that she wasn't a fan of Seven so I never went to it until recently. Myself and my mother decided to give it a try and popped in for dinner. It was a delight from start to finish. The smoked chicken salad for starter with layered lettuce was superb. I chose the sirloin steak with caramelised red onion and rosemary potatoes..again mouth watering, and a beautful warm crispy on the outside Brownie with homemade icecream to finish. Service was top class with a very pleasant and helpful waitress. This place is an absolute gem and very good value for money at EUR24 for a 3 course meal, and EUR19.95 for a 2 course all week.

I live in the neighbourhood and when I saw this little restaurant pop up along the luas line I was looking forward to trying it out! Myself and 2 of my friends went along one Sunday evening to check it out. The menu was limited and mains on the high price side. I had the slow roast rabbit ragu linguine, my friend had the chicken supreme and other butternut squash risotto. The rabbit ragu was served in a small dish..it was quite dry with carrots dotted through a sticky red ragu sauce..it was luke warm...I could do better at home. The chicken supreme dish was rather small..underwhelming also. The butternut squash risotto was packed with chillis..and chillis were not on the menu..almost to compensate for the lack of flavour from the butternut. Our desserts were served in small jam jars..I think this attempt at quirkiness failed..people do not like portion sizes reduced for the sake of quirkiness. The coffee was excellent. Overall I would say that this restaurant has potential, I would prefer to have it remain in the neighbourhood, but it needs to give people value for money.
