Been there with friends for dinner the first week it opened and lunch twice. The lunch deal 2 courses for under 10 E cannot be faulted. Its a limited but very tasty and well presented lunch choice. The dinner menu has a great choice and the food is excellent. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. You may have to go on the website to get the menu till its listed here and as yet there isnt an email booking request facility available on this page. I do recommend it as do my vegetarian friends. Will definately go back. It would be more "athmospheric" though if the restaurant music was less European and gave a taste of Indian music just to add to the night. Thats just a small thing

This restaurant could be a gem when the kitchen hones its act. The menu choices from breakfast to dinner is good. The serving staff very pleasant and helpful and the decor makes for a very relaxing nght out. Had dinner there last night with friends. One ordered the risotto but it wasnt good, in fact the comment made was "if this was the first risotto I tried I might not try it again." It was replaced efficiently but the "good" was gone from it by then I ordered the burger rare and would accept it medium at a push. It came well done, burgers well done taste like rubber. I discovered later one of the others in the group had got mine! Rare meat orders are specific and the server should have checked. Otherwise as I said above the staff were very helpful. Some of us had the E55 menu for two courses plus bottle of house wine. Good value. I will be back as I like the location, and the menu if delivered was very tasty and portions were generous. (The Rat Pack music was an added bonus for some)

There yesterday for a family birthday lunch. We go here pretty regularly and the food is always good, The portions are quite generous. I had the cheese parcel which I liked but could have left the dressing. Son & Father had the crab and were very happy. We had the salmon, lamb and pork for mains. Again everyone happy. We had to find room for desert not because we were still hungry just plain greed and needed a sugar fix. The pavlova and gluten free desert cake was delic. The staff are very friendly and professional as usual and there is a nice releaxed athmosphere. Its not a place to go if your in a hurry or on a diet! non the less would recommend it highly its consistantly good.

Celebration lunch with friends and colleagues (any excuse to go to Rolys will do fine). Had the prawn bisque and Goats Cheese Tart. Companions had the fish and vegetarian options. 5 out of 5 all round, both for the food, staff good humour and efficiency. Cant wait to go back again. Its good value too in this time and having organic options is very much appreciated. wish more restaurants could match it.

Its a great lilttle local restaurant. Does a seriously good breakfast and chicken curry. The staff are really friendly and efficient with it. Only problem I have is I would like to have a glass of wine with my meal occassionally. Otherwise its all good. Its reasonably priced and the food is consitant. Recommend it for breakfast and lunch, late dining isnt an option as they dont seem to do it.

There for lunch on Monday with work colleagues. It was as good as usual. no complaints. Had the burger with pepper sauce and it was lovely as usual. Companions had the anitpasto and the chicken and mushroom. All very happy. The staff and service were great but beware if you want the burger and are under time constraints its wise to order in ahead. Being Christmas we decided to have desert. tiramisu followed by some good coffee. Pity we had to go back to work. Will go there for dinner when time isnt a factor as much. Would recommend.

Went for dinner with my teenage son on Friday 18th Dec. The only decent thing about the whole night was the staff were quite pleasant. Both of us ordered the Brie to start. It was ice cold in the centre ( I know its frozen but someone needs to teach the chef how to test food) It was awful. Ordered the burger and chips for myself and Carbonara for my son. He left a fair bit of it unfinished. The chips were frozen from the start and were hard and tasteless. Burger (why can you have the option in some restaurants and not others of how you want it served but not here?) was well done, too well done. Couldnt face desert or coffee. Not a nice experience and no comment made by the staff regarding the starter that had to be replaced. No interest at all by management either. Odd that when you consider restaurants are trying so hard to survive. It could do seriously better with little effort

Had lunch here today with friends it was as good as it usually is. Its Friday so it was treat time. One of us had a very good Bloody Mary. The Chips were addictive and highly recommended. I had the Goats Cheese Tart with was great, None of the soup was left (Red Pepper). Friends Duck was highly rated too. Staff very helpful. Wish I could stay longer for lunch and have time for desert. Will be back for Dinner and cant recommend this little gem highly enough

Went for dinner and Christmas catch up with friends last night and really enjoyed it. The food was pretty good, had the pasta as a main course, but the portions are very large particularly if you have a starter. Its a pity to leave food to waste. Thats my only gripe. The waiters were friendly and attentive and it wasnt bad value for money for three people. Happy to go back

Back there for dinner again last night and couldnt fault it. Went vegetarian this time with GoatsCheese Salad and Fish Cakes to follow. They were well presented and tasty. Decided to send the diet for a rest and had absolutely devine iced berries and hot white chocolate sauce. The staff were very efficient and friendly. It was a very quiet night though the restaurant was pretty empty. Perhaps it was that it was a Thursday? But it is definately worth revisiting.

I found the opposite experience to the last two posters. There yesterday for Lunch with colleagues. I'm usually quite wary of Restaurants when you make a large booking around Christmas time. However absolutely no complaints (excepts Desserts and that was only minor, Chinese Restaurant desserts aren't particularly exciting!) However the food was really good, in terms of choice and quality. The staff efficient and friendly. Our group wasn't rushed and they coped with the diverse orders very well. Thai Fish Cakes good as a starter, A wide variety of dishes were had by the gang and everyone was happy. I'd go back again in fact I plan to after the New Year. In my book it's a test of a restaurant if the food is up to standard when they are dealing with large groups and particular during the Holiday Season.

Its Sandymounts as yet undiscovered secret but not for long. Opened this month, for lunch, not yet for evenings food wise.
The staff are very helpful, efficient and accommodating, groups and odd requests they can take in their stride quite happily.
Great lunch food (goats cheese is wicked;)). The decor is comfortable and there is a small section inside for groups if you get there early enough. One of my favourite local places for lunch.

Go often for lunch and can't fault it. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is great (portions are huge though particularly the salad portions so go with an appetite.) Salad options are healthy and tasty. There is something on the menu to suit most tastes. The coffee is ok. Haven't tried here for dinner yet but plan to one evening when I'm working late.

If you want really good coffee this is the place to go! Hot Chocolate & Organic tea hit the spot also for a change. It's pretty good for Breakfast & Lunch too. It's hard to choose between their Ciabatta, Sandwiches or Wraps for lunch so you can have an interesting time experimenting depending on how hungry you are. The Staff is very friendly and efficient which is a nice bonus! I will be looking forward to trying the Dinner Menu when I get a chance. I'd highly recommend this little gem in the Village

This is a great little restaurant and deserves support. Does breakfast & lunches with great choices, good wine by the glass and the coffee is great too. It's a healthy choice type of restaurant (if you don't count the desserts, which are wonderful but diet threatening, their pavlova is wicked ;) ). The staff are very helpful and friendly and the cafe is child friendly too. It has good vegetarian choices and the menu changes constantly as well as the old reliables, It's a regular haunt of mine

This ticks all the boxes for me for an informal night out. Was there on the weekend for a birthday celebration. Good wine list, if you like pasta then it's pasta heaven with a few other good choices available if you prefer to give the pasta a miss. Children happily catered for and they are happy to eat there. Its very informal and relaxed, BUT... you better book a table, going there by chance and hoping you will be seated, might not be the wisest choice, you might end up hungry if they can't fit you in! Portion size is great - no complaints from those who were very hungry. Coffee excellent and the staff helpful and cheerful. One of my locals and I'd really recommend it;)

This gets a no from me, and I'm definately voting with my feet. It's a pity, because there are few options in Beaumount particularly if you are visiting Beaumount Hospital and looking for a meal out of hours. It's expensive for what it serves up. The food from the Carvery gets cold very quickly; the menu doesn't change much if at all; the coffee is beyond horrible. That said, the staff are very nice. There are comment cards left on each table and have been for the past few months but I haven't noticed any change but I did notice people filling them out! It's a pity because it could be so much better.

Good one! Small size restaurant (like all good things!) Very reasonable and great quality, the evening special for €10 was lasagne and a glass of wine, difficult to beat. It was excellent. Has a mini shop too. Limited menu but good food. Staff friendly and helpful. Its relatively new to the area; I'd be interested to see if others agree with me.

Had lunch here today and found it a pleasant experience. Food is usually good. I had the veg pasta special - ok but it was on the bland side. Coffee excellent, service good and it was very busy. If you want to be guaranteed a table it’s probably best to book. I’d like to come back again when I’m not tied to time. Would recommend it and will be back.

If you want to feel healthy and virtuous and still have change in your pocket this is the place to go. The food is good, service very quick, it’s for dining and not relaxing (the benches don’t encourage you to hang around chatting) Great restaurant for a quick lunch or after work bite to eat before going elsewhere.

Have been going here a number of years and have always had a pleasant experience. (Bit like stepping back in time or continuing your French Holiday). Great atmosphere, good food and wine, and with a table of friends you night goes great. There is usually good interaction between tables (the place makes you really relaxed). Recommend it

Have had lunch here quite often and it’s all positive. Food wonderful, service professional without being over the top. Yes it can work out expensive but the lunch menu is excellent value for a restaurant in this bracket. Have been there with work colleagues, and family at different times and it’s to be recommended.

Having two fussy sons it’s never a bother to get them to finish off their pizza (difficult to get them to leave mine alone!) Another little secret place that word has been steadily getting out;) Its all positive, food, coffee, staff, atmosphere. Love the fact that you can have a glass of decent wine and not just the house wine choice if you only want a glass. Nice to be able to buy a few deli items on your way out. Only one teeny weeny minus point you cant book a table at lunch but that apart its a tough choice between here and the sister restaurant in Carlingford Road!

This place is brilliant, (and yes I’m fussy). The food is super and great value for money, the staff is very helpful and nothing seems too much trouble (even if it is). You can have a glass of wine, or coffee, main course or whatever you want it doesn’t have to be a full meal. The coffee is very good (yep I’m a coffeeaholic but a fussy one). You can go with your friends for a "ladies who lunch" lunch, bring your granny or in my case my very fussy son. All will leave with a smile on their face;) The desert pancakes (if you have room for them) are worth any guilt trip breaking your diet gives you. Don’t tell too many people about it though its getting more difficult to get a table! Oh and watch out for the clampers around the roads there, its a definite gold mine for them.

Consistently good since it opened. Only minus points is that it is small (but that is currently being addressed) and you could freeze if you sit just inside the door. However that aside, the menu is small at the moment (not necessarily a bad thing) the coffee is great, staff helpful. The pizza is to die for and I’m looking forward to visiting it when the expansion is finished. Would recommend it for all age groups there is something for everyone at any time of the day.

My absolute favourite Indian Restaurant, not you usual run of the mill either! They have an organic section, too, which shows a bit of imagination. Consistently high standards both in the food, staff, and atmosphere areas. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, great for celebrations or just a good evening out.
