Had a great lunch here today, food was really excellent, I had confit duck which was lovely but would have loved the roast cod my sister had too, which was so elegantly presented it looked like a picture. Service was great, friendly but not obtrusive.

I arranged to meet a friend for lunch here and made a booking the night before. When I arrived I was told my table was downstairs, and was placed beside another couple on a banquette just a little too close for comfort as I prefer to feel that no one can overhear my conversation, and I could not avoid hearing my neighbour's conversation while waiting for my friend. However it must be said that the restaurant seemed quite busy.
I was a little disappointed with my goats cheese tart as there was a lot of it and very little accompanying salad. It tasted quite pleasantly of lemon.
The loos were of a high standard.
