Had a menupages voucher for dinner. It was very quiet for a thrusday evening. Service was very good. Food was well presented. Had the Lamb as main and it was very nice. Portion is quite small - not sure for the a la carte menu if the portion would be the same.

Best burritos in town! got a El Classico and a cali carnitas and they were DELICIOUS! had the number three and four salsa - the #4 was so nice but somehow #3 was SOO spicy that i only finished half of the burrito - wonder if they actually put in #5 instead? but anyway, definitely the best burritos i have had in town so far!

A nice restaurant for girls night out. Had the salmon for start and it was very nice. Steak was also nicely cooked, a bit pricy tho - well it's organic....Not sure about the dessert, was quite average. But overall a nice place for a quiet dinner.

Visited on a weekday evening, food was average but quite expensive for bar food. Had fish and chips and the portion of the fish was just half of the size you will get from a chipper. They had no tap water either that evening. Live music from 8pm which was good.

Have been to the Port House a few times and liked it. However went there this week and it was a bid disappointment. One of the dish was cold when it was served so we got it returned- but when it came back it was burning hot - you can tell it was from the microwave. Then the desserts, they didn't even ask who ordered which dessert, just left them on the table.....very disppointed.

Had dinner there on Sat, unfortunately they only take booking for 6+. Such a lovely tapas place. Had the prawn pil pil, potato+chorizo, chicken wings. Each plate was nicely done. Highly recommend!

Ate there on a Thursday evening, atmosphere was very good - quiet and comfy. Had the scallops for starter - nicely done. Desserts were great, good plating techniques, highly recommended. Service was also excellent. The only thing we did not like was the soft drink - a very flat galss of coke, wish they served a can/bottle of coke.

Went there on a Frdiay night last month, was surpised that we got a table within 20min of arrival. I am normally a steak person and so wanted to try something different. I ordered the rosary, the waitress was so nice explaining what it was but I was a bit shocked when I started cutting the steak - the amount of fat in that cut! But the flavour was very good...Atomsphere was also good, even though not a fan of sharing a table with complete strangers.

Have been to this palce a few times now. Every time i visited there were new cakes and they always look so delicious. Fresh bread and great coffee - highly recommended!

Went there on a Sunday for Brunch, had the spiced prawns. The prawns were lovely and the hollandaise sause was amasing. Their sour dough was very very tasty - finished a full basket even before the food was served. Also ordered rhubarb crumble, it is very nicely placed in a shot glass, a lot of (maybe a bit too much) crumble in it. Definitly prefered the main course. Good for value, will go back again

Had a girls night out on a Thursday. Didn't book a table but fortunately got a table for 6 at 9pm.
Atmosphere in the Port House is great - the stone surroundings look very nice.
The prawn skewers and duck leg were so nice. Large selection of wine and great for value.

Went there on a Sat after recommended by a friend. The restaurant is lovely. Had the goose as main course - it was amazing! The goose was cooked perfectly, on the plate there was also potatos, green beans and mushrooms, each with a different flavour that really made the dish so nice.
The only downside was that we waited for almost 45 minutes to get the dessert menu - then another 20 minutes until we actually got the dessert - which was quite a long time! But other than this, service was good, will definitely go back again.

I have heard a lot of good things about this place, finally went for dinner on a Saturday. The place was very nice. Had the goat cheese as starter which was very nice and well presented. Had the halibut (with some chicken pieces in it) for main, nicely cooked but my partner said the chicken was nicer than the halibut itself. The salmon was not as good as expected, very red in the middle (personally I prefer it well done). The service was also good.
