Campo de' FioriPosted on 21 June 2009
I've been here several times and it never ceases to impress me.
The staff are lovely and friendly and are eager to genuinely recommend dishes to you. Today our party tried all of the specials on their recommendation and were delighted!
Meal began with basket of lovely still warm crusty bread that instead of being served with butter was served with olive oil, one garlic and one chilli flavoured, yum!
Bruschetta al pomodoro and caprese here although typical dishes on Italian menus can sometimes be done poorly, here always seems to be spot on!
The special of beef carpaccio though something would not ordinarily try was delicious especially with the parmesan cheese.
Lobster pasta mains were winners as usual.
Desert of white choc mouse, had chips of milk choc through, was divine! Nicest desert I've had in a while!
Complimentary sambuca at end of meal is a nice touch also.
Staff are so friendly, this place is a pleasure to visit!

Milano (Dundrum)Posted on 21 June 2009
It's a nice spot but for some reason wouldn't take bookings for groups of 4, we were going for my sisters birthday and wanted to be sure of getting a table when the cinema was out. In the end it wasn't too busy so this wasn't an issue, however despite it being quiet the service was very slow. (Although the staff were nice)
We were waiting over 20mins for 3 dough balls, but was worth the wait as these are delicious!
Again we were waiting a while for mains- though not as long, got the Leggera pizza, not as big or heavy as a full pizza, but very delicious! Cherry tomatoes are used to full effect, only complaint is the salad in the centre is very rocket heavy(not a fan of rocket).
Sister and her friend shared a pizza which was slightly burnt but they seemed to enjoy it. Mother got a bruchetta with tomatoes, red onion and pesto. It was on a very large doughy base and swimming in pesto. Not the nicest!
Not bad value, this place would be lot more appealing if service was quicker, have heard others complain about this before.
Dough balls and leggera pizzas though are the stars of the menu that give the restaurant some edge.

The Atrium LoungePosted on 12 June 2009
Like the previous reviewer I saw the chocolate fountain deal and couldn't resist!
Went with my little sister, her friend and my mum today. Unfortunately there's work going on in the atrium at the moment so we couldn't sit there. That's the only real reason why the atmosphere wasn't as great as I'd hope. However the staff were lovely and informed us that we could just take it in the other restaurant. We arrived at 5.30 and they needed us out for 6 to set up for the evening however when we still weren't finished at 6.20 they didn't rush us.
The fountain amazing and came with strawberries, pineapple, marshmallows and profiteroles.
Was yum! Especially as strawberries are in season and the profiteroles cold cream centre was contrasted nicely with the hot choc from the fountain.
Noticed a sign describing seasonal summer fruit theme for afternoon tea at the moment, also at €18 for two, think I'll be back in a week or two to try this out, when the atrium is done up!

Little Caesars Palace RestaurantPosted on 20 September 2008
Little Caesars is a lovely spot that I used to go to all the time with my family but hadn't been to for quite a bit. We were heading to the evita last night and decided to come in early for an early bird as it's quite close to the gaiety. The early bird menu is fantastic value and the staff were amazing, they were friendly and very accommodating- we were a slightly awkward party(!)
The food was great, but it wasn't spectacular, however my friend got the suppli starter and said it was the nicest suppli she'd ever had. Everybody really enjoyed their meal and I'll definitely be heading back again!

Betelnut CafePosted on 10 September 2008
Lovely spot, although it can be very busy at times. Try to visit outside of lunch rush if you can but still worth a visit at any time. Reasonably priced and very tasty. Staff are generally lovely but can be a bit rushed at lunch(completely understandable) to avoid slow service at this time you can call and book your table and order your food in advance- really helpful if your rushing back for work!
Only complaint is it doesn't stay open later, would be perfect for dinner before a show but as most shows in theatre start at 8pm and this closes at 6pm its a bit of a shame.

Chez MaxPosted on 08 September 2008
Really enjoyable evening, place has a lovely atmosphere and feels genuinely french. However if you are looking for privacy do not come here as some of the tables are practically on top of each other.
The food however and service were impeccable, I'd definitely return and have already recommended to my father(a lover of french cuisine).
I had the duck and potato gratin with red wine sauce for main course and it could not be faulted, my friend however felt his pork was slightly overcooked(but he was the one who recommended the place-he still loves it!).
Was very reasonable at €85 for 3 course meal for two and a nice bottle of wine.
Would suggest checking website for more up to date menu as it has changed considerably from what is available here.
