Had Sunday lunch here with a group of friends and was truly amazed to get such fine food in such a small village. The food was the best seafood I had in a very long time. The jumbo prawns in garlic butter that I had for mains were a delight to behold, and my companions were equally as pleased. Great variety of deserts and coffee ended our perfect meal. Service was excellent, parking right outside the door all made it a perfect lunch, Will definitely be back and recommend this venue highly.

Got a pigsback voucher for the early bird for 2 for 21.50. When I rang and said I had a voucher I felt the lady was hesitant as to whether they had a vacancy or not but said she would fit me in and rehash some tables,.When we got to the restaurant at the 6 pm booking there were just 2 other couples there. Chicken wings were off the menu so I had prawns & my partner had ribs, both tasty. For mains he had beef and I had pork, small portions so we had to get chips to supplement. Deserts were good.
We each had a glass of wine, very overpriced for cheap wine at 7 euro per glass. In other restaurants same wine is 4-5 euro. Coffee was 2.50 no offer of refils. I was disappointed with athmosphere as it was the friday of the bank holiday weekend with Riverfest & the great Limerick run weekend. The voucher was to be for 43 euro worth of food and the extras of 2 x wine and 2 x coffees for 19 euro. If I paid 62 euro for that I would feel like I really got stung big time.

This is one of my favourite haunts on way from Galway to Limerick. I always know I will get a great steak and its a nice break on the journey. This evening was no exception. Great parking at the rear, warm welcome, fast ad friendly service and most of all great food. We both enjoyed a large steak with all the trimmings cooked to perfection, sizzling and tasty. Touristy prices but it is a well known and well run establishment with a great reputation . Would recommend.

After visiting here last week for coffee and scones I had to come back and try lunch during a busy day shopping, I availed of the lunch special which was ham, cheese, tomato, and relish panini and chips for 5.50. It was delicious and great value. This was followed by a capachino for 2.65 which came with a little chocolate milka well presented and with a smile. Staff very helpful, great athmosphere, and a lovely lunch time buzz about the place. Will be making this a regular haunt.

Had lunch here on a lovely sunny day sitting outside in their newly covered area, nice athmosphere with many tourists still around. Service was good, place spotless and the creamery burger was excellent, I had the bacon and cheese option and it was hot, tasty and plentiful. My friend had the bacon and cabbage which they said was lovely and hit the spot, Isnt that just what one wants. This is not the first time I dined here and it wont be the last. Lots of parking right outside the door too.

Had coffee and scones here one morning sitting outside watching the world go by on this lovely little street. It was a very pleasant experience and will definitely both recommend it and return myself, The service was excellent, the girls were bright and cheerful and the scones hot and scrumptous, the rasberry jam was to die for and for a quick break during shopping I couldnt recommend it highly enough. Nest time I have it earmarked for some tasty treats from the deli counter for lunch 5/5.

Two of us went here for Sunday lunch and were disappointed. To start with I got a table facing the toilet door with a hatch beside the table where the used dishes were constantly being put into even though there were several vacant tables in the main body of the restaurant. The prawn starter and spare ribs were delicious, my beef was great but the chips in the sole dish were undercooked, hard and inedible. The desert platter was passable the only thing we ate was the chocolate brownie to share, and a rasberry sponge, the ice cream and vanilla dip were tasteless and we left them. Coffee was good with free refil. Service was excellent, parking outside the door and the starters were about the only thing I could recommend, With so many fine restaurants nearby I wont be returning.

Had lunch here on friday at lunch time with a friend. I found the staff vey friendly and helpful. I had the mains salad which had a plentiful selection of meat and fish to choose from and my friend had cod mornet which he enjoyed, As a previous reviewer said the chips came in a tiny bowl on the side and were not nice which was a pity. The meals were 9.95 each which was average, Coffee was lovely and came with 2 nice biscuits on the side. Parking was plentiful outside the door and this place made a nice change for one who does lunch on a regular basis. I would go there again as the location is good and atmosphere pleasant. It has a few adjoining shops too so I found that convenient.

Had a late lunch here on Monday when passing through the area. The service was good, food nice and athmosphere pleasant with a nice buzz in Harrys bar and Bistro.
We both went for the burger with chips and salad for 9.95, it was a large homemade burger, very tasty and cooked to perfection. The menu had some great choices and prices were good. Great place to stop when on the main road with lots of parking right outside the door. Just what we needed here.

Had Sunday lunch here with a friend and enjoyed the old world athmosphere and the ambiance of the place. It was very busy with customers of all ages and natinalities and a nice few locals too. Had drink in the bar first where the service was excellent. The menu was varied and well priced for a high class establishment. Excellent location, lots of parking outside and lovely views of the town square. Will be back in September for race week and much looking forward to it.

Dined here Sunday night on way back from Ballybunnion. It was an excellent meal and deserving of the words gourmet restaurant. The service was excellent, food top quality and prices as expected, The restaurant at the front was full with a great buzz and the takeaway had a constant flow of locals which was obviously a great sign. The house wine was excellent too and would recommend this restaurant highly. I will definitely return on my next visit to the area. They also have a well stocked bar and the decour was very inviting. Top marks.

Myself and a friend dined here on our way back from the Willie Clancy festival in Miltown purely because of the great food and great views. It was at sunset so we got an excellent view and were not disappointed; We both had the beer battered fish and chips with tartar sauce, side salad and chips, Delicious and filling is how I would describe it, There were a few groups there so the buzz was excellent and I have to give special mention to the excellent staff who give a wonderful service even when under pressure at this time of year in a popular resort. I have been here before and will be back again.

Ate here with a group of friends and it was a most enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was great a nice buzz for a mid week night, We had the wine and dine special 50 euro per couple which was great value. I had the garlic prawns for starters and the duck for mains. wine was well chosen and it was exactly what we needed on the night. Had a wonderful romantic dinner for two in this wonderful restaurant, The ambiance, atmosphere, service and food were excellent, everything I expected and more. I had the smoked duck for starter and scallops for mains both delicious. Great choice to pick from and outdoor dining available too on a beautiful summers evening that it was. If I were to say one thing, it would be that they should invest in some large wine glasses to compliment their excellent wine selection which cried out for large goblets.. I would recommend this venue highly and will definitely return.

Was taken to this lovely family run restaurant by a friend as a treat. We had the 4 course set meal for 29 euro, and what value it turned out to be. The food was plentiful, well presented and top quality. The service was excellent and great personal touch and attention from John the owner.
Complimentary Balileys after the meal added a great touch. The restaurant was busy, a gret buzz and the other guests were equally as impressed as I was.
Top marks for this top class spot right in the centre of Adare village.

Had carvery lunch here yesterday with a collogue. The choice, food and service were 2nd to none. I had the roast beef and my friend had chicken, both could not be beaten. Taken here by a friend for some long promiced good food, I was not to be disappointed. It is a favourite haunt of theirs and I can see why. Nice athmosphere, pleasant staff, good food and good prices made it a very pleasant visit for us. I found it old style with an older more discerning clientel who looked as if it was a long time favourite of theirs as well. I will put it on my list again for when I am visiting Lahinch. Would recommend it.

Visited here with a group on Sunday for the oyster festival, There was great activity in the little villlage and a nice crowd around. The restaurant I had visited before and always go for seafood chowder and seafood platter. Both were excellent, service was good even though the staff were rushed. Prices were about average for a highly rated touristy seafood restaurant, Pints were good, and sitting outside in the sun was the icing on the cake. Will be back again before the season is over.

Had lunch here to day for a change and it was top class. A great buzz in the bar with workers on their lunch break, Great variety of self service dishes. The staff were helpful and friendly and the price was good too, Portions were excellent and food hot and tasty. It was very busy and that gave a nice atmospher.
I would highly recommend this and will be back for sure. Well done. Free parking too.

Veered off the main road home to have a late lunch here as we had heard so much about it. The location is wonderful and on a clear sunny day it was a dream come true. We walked about for a while to build up an appetite and then partook of some smoked salmon and brown bread with a lemon twist. The ambiance of the place grabbed us from the moment we set foot inside the door. A little expensive but it is a tourist attraction so it was worth the bit extra for the experience, We lingered and truly enjoyed it all.

What can I say that has not already been said. Its reputation speaks for itself. Apart from the most delicious seafood I have ever had in any part of the world |I have travelled. Truly excellent and well deserving of its awards. The nicest seafood and nicest chips ever and not as expensive as I had thought bearing in mind its world renound.
We ate here for lunch but to be honest we did not eat for the rest of the day it was so filling and tasty.
I will definitely be back on my next visit to the city.

Said I would try this for a friday night meal after reading some favourable reviews on here. Was staying locally in a cottege for the weekend and after some pre dinner drinks in a well know local bar we came across to the Twelve. There was a nice buzz for a friday night, staff were busy but friendly. Menu was varied with food to suit all tastes. Portions were goood too and good value for what we paid.
It also had wifi internet access which was great for people like ourselves on the go.
I would recommend it.

Went here with my sister while doing some shopping. It served as a nice break for a sit down and a glass of wine. Surroundings were pleasant, staff attentive and food good, I found the menu somewhat limited but we got a tasty lunch and a nice crisp glass of white wine. We chatted over coffee and were not rushed. Restaurant was busy with lots of singles just coming in for a main cource, coffee and read of the paper. It seemed to have a lot of repeat professional clients as its so conveniently located. Nearby restrooms were spotless and convenient location made this a good experience.

Popped in here after work with some workmates. We had hot chocolate and a trio of deserts which were delicious. it was a cold evening so it just hit the spot. The sampler was great as we got to taste different deserts and went down a treat with all 4 of us girls. We got a window table so had a view of the city and the passers by and enjoyed a nice chat in pleasant modern surroundings. Great service and excellent staff would make me return again and again.

Stopped here en route to Galway. Very conveniently located on main road with lots of free parking. Service was fast and friendly and food was good and filling. It set us up for the trip ahead.
We had a voucher for a meal deal for 2 which proved no problem, the staff member said yes no problem thats great and we were given an excellent meal well presented and served quickly with a smile.
I did feel though that without the voucher the prices are a bit on the expensive side. If one was to add up all the individual dishes fries dips and drinks it could cost more than you would expect.
We got great value and were happy with our visit.

Went here to day for lunch with a few girls from work. We like it here as there is plenty of free parking, a few shops to look round and it gets us out of the office. I was in this area doing a bit of walking on the canal and other walkers recommended the Mill for a good wholesome feed. I had the bacon and cheese burger which was tasty and filling after a few hours walking. The pub is quaint, staff friendly, parking outside, nice scenic area, prices good. It was nice and relaxing beside an open fire with mostly locals having the craic and banter. i enjoyed the visit and left feeling full and satisfied. This golf club delights my heart in every possible way. I love the atmosphere and buzz in the bar. Went in for just a glass of wine or two and the food looked so tempting we could not resist eating there that evening. The presentation, the service, the menu and the food left nothing to be desired. I love the views from the bar and the Christmas decorations and the Marque added to the fairytale ambiance of this truly magnificant place. Some great walks in the vacinity of the club with ample parking make this a perfect place for a complete day out.

Got a longing for a good Indian and returned here as I enjoyed my previous visit, The restaurant was clean, staff freindly and food delicious. The prices were good but I found the king prawn dishes a bit expensive but the dish was excellent. If you are in the area and want a good authentic Indian this is the place to go. One of the nicest and most quaint restaurants I have ever eaten in. The cottage effect is very appealling and the ambiance of the whole place is enchanting. I go for the evening meal for Euro 60 for two with coffee and wine. Truely great value, from the welcome when you arrive, to the varied bread basket, the menu and the specials, the mouthwatering deserts, coffee, wine. The staff are most friendly, the restaurant spotless, well equipped ladies room and nice seating outside the door for a summers evening to take in the atmosphere of Bunratty village. Booking is advisable as I have been disappointed once and learned by my mistake. .

Zest is one of the gems in Shannon town and since it opened it made the shopping center so upbeat. Its modern decor and friendly staff as well as its competitive prices will draw you in time after time. The evening menu with bottle of wine for two just cant be beaten with free admission to the night club thrown in. I have been here on numerous occassions for lunch, popped in for coffee when I unexpectedly met a friend, and for the wine and dine special at night. Every time I am impressed with this upbeat bistro. Again I have to mention the friendly and helpful staff who take time to give you individual attention. A true addition to Shannon.

Saw that several of my facebook friends had recommended Mortells so when I needed a full Irish Breakfast before a meeting in town it sprang to mind straight away. Had an early evening bite here with a friend. We were told to try the beer battered fish and chips and my God it did not disappoint, it was finger licking good. Well priced, served with a smile, nice atmosphere during a rugby game and a nice friday evening after work buzz about the place. Stopped here while out for a Burne walk. Good parking outside. Seafood excellent, and Im told the pint was good. Staff friendly, big fire on which made a great athmosphere on a cold day. Service was fast and some pleasantries were exchanged with a smile. Prices are high but it has a good name and is popular with tourists which hikes up the bill a bit. A nice treat if out for a Sunday drive but would not be able to afford it too often. Well worth a visit as a treat.

I meet family here as its a half way location for Sunday lunch on a regular basis. They offer excellent deals for mains, desert and coffee and its hard to be beaten, As its buffet style you can get as much or as little as you like. The servers are courteous and helpful and always make you feel special. Management are always on hand keeping an eye on things and ensuring that customers are kept happy.Food is tasty and well presented and the dining area is very pleasant. Nice smoking area and handy parking just outside. Its minutes from the Crescent shopping centre so we pop there afterwards for a spot of retail therapy to work off our fine meal. This is a regular on my list. I also see parties and groups catered for with a lot of special offers.

Dined here while staying at the Liscannor bay Logues hotel . As it was across the road it was a must to try. A great athmosphere in the area with people outside chatting, drinking and relaxing.. The decor is nautical and in keeping with the area and made pleasant dining, The staff were friendly but the service was a little slow but the wine helped to pass the time. Prices were a bit expensive for recessionary times in a small village in West Clare but the food was good and a great night was had by all.

Visited here with a family group for a nice lunch and a bit of shopping in the local area. The place was busy and the staff ok. The burger was excellent, cooked as I liked it and very filling. Other members had fish, and pizza and all were pleased. We thought it was a bit expensive for pub grub and the bill was substancial when we included drinks and minerals but its a prime location in a tourist area so to be expected I imagine. I would recommend it for a no fuss on the spot bit of bar food.

Was shopping in the area with a friend and as we had heard so many great things about Delish we had to try it. We had a wonderful sandwich of italian meats accompanied by a glass of white Italian wine and it hit the spot.. We chatted and relaxed in lovely athmosphere and the friendly girls made sure we had everything we needed.
The icing on the cake was when a well known Munster rugby player came in with his dad for some food and I was able to get his autograph. What a day, Never to be forgotten, I have been back many times and at this stage have had everhthing on the menue and can recommend them all. Well done and keep it going.

Booked a table for two as we felt we deserved a fine stake as a nice treat on a Saturday night, We were not disappointed. As always it was truly succelent, cooked to perfection and not at all bad value for money. Accompanied by a lovely bottle of red the whole evening was memorable. Service was good for a very busy evening where the staff were run off thier feet, but always smiled and acknowledged us. Our boss took our staff here for a Christmas lunch and we had a most enjoyable day, Great athmosphere, friendly staff, magnificant location. The food was excellent and the entire party did not have one fault to find. Everyone truly enjoyed the delicious food and athmosphere,. I visited here with a group of girls for womens Christmas. We go here on a regular basis for the food, the ambiance and the music. We are never disappointed. A short spin up the road with beautiful scenery adds to the expectation of our destination. The staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful. Food always delicious and plentiful.
