I give this place top marks!! I've only ever been here for breakfast but love the place. I always change what's included on the breakfast menu and it's never a problem, and no extra charge. Plus they have fab coffee and the refills are free!!! Where else would you get that! Great food, great value, great service. Love it!

Ate here for a friend's birthday. wasn't too keen on going as not really into Chinese food but was delighted their menu included all sorts of other dishes. Had Pork starter, extremely fatty.but the Prawns main were dee-lish!! Service was brilliant, prices for food were very good but thought 5.25 for bottle of beer bit steep. Liked the fact it was very child friendly. Twas a Sat nite about half 7 and nearly every table had children at it. Now I know it's not just chinese I'll go back

I ate here with a few friends here last week for our annual xmas party. I had heard a few bad reviews about the place before we came but still wanted to try the place out for ourselves. The set menu was 30euro for 3 courses. I had the prawns starter followed bt risotto main and finished with the crumble for dessert. All were really delicious and everyone at the table really enjoyed their choices. The place is quite small but had a good atmosphere and service was fine. so although we went in not expecting much we were all pleasantly surprised. i would really recommend this place for dinner and will be back

I really love this place for a nice cold beer on a Fri afternoon and of course a sunny day. Location and atmosphere are fantastic. So last fri we decided to get a bite to eat. My friend had the Fish'n'Chips and I had the Mark Ella wrap, which had Chicken, brie, sun dried tomatoes and pesto sauce in it. My wrap was quite tasty but the oil from the pesto sauce was dripping off it and it wasn't exactly crammed full. For 7 quid it was a bit mean looking. The fish was really good and well worth 11euro. Kids menu, my friend's chils had chicken goujons and they were the nicest goujons I've ever tasted!! The child was well impressed too!! For atmosphere alone I'll definitely be back. It's one of Limericks gems of a place

Had lunch here today with a few friends and 1 three year old child. When we were seated we were given the set menu,a la carte menu and a "pre teen" menu. The set menu for adults was 9.90 and unbelievably was also the same price on the pre teen menu! My child is 3years old and looks her age!! So I was surprised to see the table next to us, who had a child about the same age, be given a "little rascals" menu. Obviously meant for the age group my child was in.And the more reasonable price on this menu was 4.95! By this time we had ordered our food so ended up paying the 9.90 for my 3year old's dinner which was waayyyyyy too big her. I'd love to know what the waiter was thinking!!
In saying all that, our meal was gorgeous, had the gambas starter and carbonara main. Both were really tasty. Have't been to this restaurant in a while so was delighted it had lost it's canteen look. Much better design.
Would highly recommend Luigi's but if you have a small child with you, don't forget to ask for the little rascals menu!

Had lunch here recently on a rainy tuesday. I've always thought of this restaurant to be too expensive but thier lunch menu was ok value, most things were 10euro. Not alot of choice though, but what I did have was qiute tasty. Bap filled with steak,mushrooms,onions and cheese. It said served with salad and fries but my salad consisted of a single lettuce leaf, which was dissapointing. Service was fine but the place was dead(which can often go against you)

Ate here one Sat lunchtime with some friends. The food is ok, I had the lasagne which was a bit burnt around the edges and not piping hot in the middle, obviously re-heated. My friend had the prawns starter which was delish, but compared to the prices of the main meals,were quite expensive(6.50, which is the same price of some full dinners!!) It's a fantastic looking restaurant but the service can be very hit and miss. You actually get better service when they're really busy. The staff tend to slack off when the rush is over. All in all I wouldn't rush back... but if I was with someone who really wanted to go there I'd probably go back

I ate here last week with a friend of mine and my daughter. While the food was very tasty(as it always is) the service and the atmosphere was very poor. Our waitress walked around with an attitude like she didn't want to be there abd was bordering on being rude to us. It really put me off!! The place used to have a great buzzy atmosphere to it but it has really changed since they renovated. The place looks beautiful but was not a very relaxing place to dine, mostly down to the waiting staff not being very welcoming. they've obviously got their kitchen staff right, now they just need to send their service staff on a training course of customer service and then I might go back
