If you would like to try a novelty meal with great food then this is a great spot. OK, so you cook your own dinner on a hot slab of rock, but then how can you complain about the cooking! I had the fish cakes to start and with this dish rapidly becoming ubiquitous a good one stands out and this did, very fresh and not overly dressed in salad. For mains the sampler plate was had and very good all told, apart a bit light on the veg. The atmosphere on a busy night, like ours, was great, as every table is interacting with their food. The service was first class, very warm and friendly and nothing was a problem, and with a table of 16 there is always a tricky request! A good spot for a 1st date I recon.

A great spot to take a break from a heavy shopping trip, its relaxed spacious and friendly. Last Sunday breakfast was a treat after a heavy night out and there was no disappointments, I like a hot cup of tea with a fry and this was delivered with a smile and that knowing look. A bit of a mix up with the orders eggs and no eggs but it was all sorted with pleasant efficiency, well worth a try!
