Aurora Asian CuisinePosted on 19 April 2010
This is one of the nicest restaurants I have been to in a long time. They have an early bird until haf 8 of 2 courses for €16 and after this they have a set menu of 2 courses for €20. You can just order off there menu seperatly also. I ordered off the set menu which had excellent choice not your usual cheapest menu options. We had cantonese duck and fillet of beef with black pepper sauce it was superb. The restaurant had a lovely setting and the staff were lovely. When we finished our starter they didnt rush out with the main dish to get us out quickly they waited then asked were we ready for our main tought this was a nice touch. Recommend this one to all my friends and will definitly be returning again.

I heard great reviews about this restaurant from my friends. However, I was disappointed. I got the lemon chicken which I found to be over cooked or reheated as it was tough and got no vegtables which was disappointing. I also only got a small portion of rice I ate it all which I never really would. If my boyfriend got it he would of needed another portion. The surroundings were nice and the staff were friendly and kept filling up my water. I didnt like the way different waiters kept coming over and asking was it ok. One person should of been assigned our table and asked us we got asked far to much bordering on annoying us.

The Twelfth LockPosted on 17 February 2010
Always a fan of the food. Delivered always at such high standards. Nice place to go for a sunday dinner if your dont fancy your traditional carvery. Great place to go when its sunny out as they have a lovely terrace looking out on the canal. Can get a little packed and often have to que and wait for a table so you need to get down at the right time to avoid the wait. Good price for the standard of food you get. iv tryed everything and love it all.

Shanahan’s on the GreenPosted on 11 February 2010
Ok so it is more expensive then your usual meal. But you get what you pay for. The setting is lovely, the waiter is at the highest standard and the food is devine. You do have to order your meat and potatoes etc seperate as they do not come with the meal. They now have an early bird menu so why not try it now while your getting a true bargain. Is well worth going for that extra special occassion.

The layout of this restaurant is lovely. It is in a nice surounding the millenium quarter which has only been renovated recently. They have a waiting room were you can just go for a few drinks. You are then taking into the back for your meal. I love thai dishes but decided to try something different and got a singapor dish which was lovely. The meal was slightly over priced and the tables were very close together but lovely atmosphere and would recommend it.

Eddie Rockets (Blanchardstown)Posted on 09 February 2010
Love the food at eddie rockets. Wouldnt consider it a restaurant tough. The food is very overpriced as sometimes it can cost you the same as going to a proper restaurant. But it is good food. There is not a huge offer on the menu. Good place to go before or after the cinema.

Thai Garden RestaurantPosted on 09 February 2010
I am a huge fan of this restaurant and recommened it to all my friends. I have traveled in Thailand so I am aware of the cuisine. I highly recommend the Pad Thai.Extremly friendly and will do anything to help and on birthdays they will bring out cakes, banner and sing to you. The only downside I have to this restaurant is the poor drinks menu. They only sell thai beer and wines. They could really do with some vodka!!! They do an early bird menu and is advised to pre book even on weekdays as it is very popular and always busy.

Ming Garden (Dublin)Posted on 09 February 2010
This restaurant setting is lovely. The tables are well spread out so I didnt feel as tough I was listening to someones converstion. The food was nice and the prices were average but just felt you could get the same in a takeaway for half the price. The service was good and you can park in the car park behind. Usually you do have to pay but they will give you a coupon so that it is free of charge. I tough this was a nice touch.

I went for the early bird 2 courses for €14. This was great value for what we got, however the food comes out at the same time which wa a bit strange. Am a huge fan of coctails and at €5 each its a steal. The location was great to go for a few drinks after in the good spots I usually would in town.
