Been here many time's and keep returning for the delicious food and great price's, 15.99 for 3 course menu, with shredded chicken, curry and many favourite dish's available on special menu.
Staff friendly and helpful.

Had lunch with some girl's,
The special of blt, cup of soup and fries, for 8.65, was very good value.
Seafood chowder very tasty, and bacon and cabbage also a nice meal with plenty of it.
Hate done and will again return.

Steak sandwich was ok, bacon and cabbage was lovely, plenty of it, kids meals were 4.95 and good value.
I've had nicer food there in the past.

We popped in for some Sunday lunch, while the food was lovely was not exactly what we expected and not much variety for the baby, lobster was very nice bit pricey but, and my fave was ceaser salad with shrimps.
Overall was lovely food lovely place, go for the experience of it all.

Had some pre show food here Thursday night, as usual was fab, had chicken and mushroom pasta was yummy, garlic mushroom's which are their own unique recipe with melted cheese all delish, washed down with a lovely house white wine.
Lunch specials run til 6 and are great value.
Only draw back, deserts far to expensive for a cheap eats family pizza place.

Went for dinner, and drink's Thursday night wit girls, food was lovely and arrived very quick, well presented and delicious, good value for money, steak sandwich with pepper sauce chips and crispy onions was 13.95 two of us shared it was yum. My friend a vegetarian had little to choose from, no sandwiches after 5, no toastie's, very little to choose from and no way would they do anything off the menu, so she settled for chips salad and onion rings, side salad had feta cheese Olive's it was delicious.
Now to the bar, or lounge service, virtually non existent, we must have sat for half an hr wit no drink's, one waitress run off her feet couldn't keep up with the orders, not her fault just not enough staff on.
Overall good food, terrible service.

Went on Sunday evening 5pm for dinner. We had bought a citydeal voucher for 24euro for two people for 3 courses and a soft drink or tea/coffee. It said this would normally be 30euro each so we were delighted to get this price. We brought two others and a baby. My friends were offered a menu for 14.95 ahead. their menu was better than ours.
More choice and nicer food.
I asked for a high chair, it was absolutly filthy, straps were rotten I said oh no I woulden't even touch that and the waiter just left it beside us and walked away.
Food was slow but quite nice and we all enjoyed our starters and mains. Dessert was only banana fritters and ice cream. L of us said we'd have it. Half way through the baby sharing mine I found a hair wrapped in my ice cream. so as not to cause a fuss I walked up to the counter and whispered to the server. She took it off me. Few min's later returned to our table where a full table was beside us, saying, all the girls here have black eyes and black hair, you and your friend have yellow hair, and its yellow hair. i thought this was so unprofessional, i pointed out to her we have brown hair. She said oh it must have got into the ice cream from your hair or in the factory as we are all black, oh sorry about that and left.
We paid and left with no apology or even a discount, she was court and rude as we left.
Will not be returning.
High chair was revolting and a disgrace to ask someone to put their child into.

OK been for lunch was great.
Last night we had the menupages voucher, 50euro for 3 courses off the a la carte menu, not the special menu which was great and a bottle of white wine.
Garlic mushrooms and supli were delicious, we were offered the house wine not a choice so I presumed that was all the offer allowed, which was nice.
I ordered the char-grilled fillet steak medallions while my partner ordered carbonnara. After a long wait which was fine as we were chatting and drinking wine, plus a asked for steak well done, food arrived all together which was great, but, my steak was sirloin piece, not what I ordered, waiter was lovely and apologetic, he offered to change it, but come on, all the food was on the table and I was to wait another 20mins for my main, obviously I said no its fine, now he offered all sorts of side dishes to make up for the error, and we were not charged for veg chips so maybe it was a genuine mistake, but I did kind of think maybe as we were not paying full whack, it was done intentionally. Even so the mains were delicious and we cleared our plates.
We had banoffi and a meringue with ice cream, butterscotch sauce and roasted hazelnut's for afters which were absolutely divine.

We just had the pub grub, goujons chips burger etc.
Food was ok, chips bit hard under done.
Desserts were a little overpriced and dissapointing.
not the worst food ever but ceretanly not the best for the price we paid.

Down in Kilmoukerage for a few days and have tried a few places for dinner, popped into blackwater hotel for a lunch with baby and teen.
Bar man was so nice and accomadating getting us a high chair, extra sauces very friendly so good start.
We had burger which was yummy with relish and bacon, very fresh, potatoe skins with cheese and bacon, 3 big tasty fresh skins with sour cream, large side salads with them which consisted of 3 different lettuces, tomatoe, red onion, cucumber, a huge basket of chips, my friend had toastie which was delicious.
Tea and two soft drinks all for 27euro, great value and delicious food, were headin back down this weekend and will be back.

Went to Solo for lunch today.
We had an all day breakfast and a club sambo.
Both were delicious with coffee which was of the nicer variety.
Staff were friendly even though they were quite busy.
Great value for money, we spent 20euro between us.
Worth a visit, and I must try their cafe in Shankill village too.

Four of us girls went to Rolys for a meal sunday night.
We opted for the set menu which was great value. Service was excellent with two of the girls pregnant the staff were well up on what was in each meal, be it raw egg's etc...and were were very up on what the girls could and could not eat, there was no need for us to explain they were well tuned, which was a nice change.
Rolys has a brilliant reputation, so we expected a prices to match but no, very reasonable prices for some top quality food.
Defo be going back.

Ate here on our way to kilmuckerage last week.
In fairness its a popular place that most people stop for a bite in, so we did.
The food was nice we had the specila dinner roast beef all the trimmings and it was lovely.
At under 15euro each with a 7up sure you can't really go wrong.
A pleasant place staff friendly enough for a busy pub.
Would eat there again.

Went to mao for a quick lunch today.
Have been a couple of times before for dinner, same girl has always served us and she's very nice and helpful.
Today however a rude young girl took our order, asked to bring it outside she grunted it could only be a certain place outside as my friend was up at insomnia getting coffees we wanted to meet in the middle, but no I was told to wait in the area directly outside.
For 5 mins I went to help my friend and had missed my food, I went into the nice girl who said she would send it out again, which she did with the rude one and even though I apologised, I was helping my friend who is a whhelcahir user she ignored me and never brought my drink, which I went in for myself.
Food was good a nice portion for lunch, seasame honey chicken with rice, a glass of diet coke for 9.50, you can't go wrong really.

Went for dinner Tuesday night, a bit like being in Fawlty Towers!
While the staff were very helpful no English was spoken by waiter, no understanding of the menu so was a bit funny but frustrating.
Food was ok after my friend wore a glass of wine down her back, the waiters mistake which he apologised for but still my friend was soaked through.
Overall we just had a laugh sure what else could we do.

Second visit to this fabuloue Italian, it was just a wonderful as the first, food service all faultless, wine was a bit pricy but I suppose thats how they make their money, if wine was a little cheaper we may have stayed and drank another bottle instead we went for a cocktail in the local bar.
Apart from that a lovely meal great value for the quality of food we were served.
we will be back for a 3rd visit.

Had lunch in Alexis on Friday last.
We had the express lunch. we arrived at 1.20pm with no booking.
The place was very busy but we were seated quickly and before we knew it we were eating pork belly with mustard mash and fish with fried potatoes.
Food was quick to arrive, but was hot delicious and very tasty.
Staff were so friendly and accomadating. One course cost 9 Euro, two for 12 Euro or three for 15 Euro. Desert was mini pavalove and hot apple pie, delicious and for the price was great value.
We even made it back to work on time.
We will be back, delicious food great price and most importantly quick, within the lunch 45 mins.

Had lunch in 40 foot yesterday, fast effecient friendly and value for money.
Server was a young man very obliging in explaining all the desserts to us and giving us an extra cone so we could share ice-cream.
We ate spicy lemon chicken wings, very tasty, open chicken sambe on brown bread, which was a chargrilled chicken fillet on salad and two pieces of brown bread, and we had the beef tomato and mozarella salad, all delicious and tasty. 4oft 99 ice-cream to finish was yummy.
Nice to eat a freah and hot lunch within lunch hour and not be rushing or waiting for ever for food.
We will be back very soon.

Ate there on thursday night before a movie. We are a group of wheelchair users and the staff are very friendly and accomadating to us always.
Food is mostly very nice sometimes chicken wings portions are bigger or smaller depending on who is serving.
The special lunch menu is great value for money but if you go to the main menu it can end up a bit expensive.
