I have eaten here alot but have to agree with the previous reviewer that value for money is very poor. At lunch today, my friend ordered bangers and mash - a dish both of us have had there several times for the not insubstantial lunchtime price of €16.95. Today it arrived with 1 sausage split down the middle instead of the usual 2. We raised it with staff and they offered us a free side but my friend said he'd prefer the second sausage. They wouldn't give it to him and instead we got a coffee and tea on the house. Net result 1 sausage and a bit of mash for nearly €18 - totally unacceptable in this day and age. Ely needs to get real- the menu says "bangerS and mash" not "banger" singular. We won't be returning.
