Recommend this place. Was staying in the hotel so opted to eat there too so I could have a glass of wine. We went for the set menu for 25 euro. This was 3 courses plus coffee. Thought the selection was great, something for everyone. Food was really tasty and very well presented. Wine list was good and reasonable. All told thought it was very good value.
Also have to say that the staff in the restaurant were really excellent. Meal was servered promptly but we never felt rushed. Hotel is actually in Renmore area of Galway so if you are staying in this hotel or in the area would recommend a visit.

Last Saturday in the sunshine our party of 3 casually dressed ladies decided to have lunch here as we were looking for venues for an upcoming private party. We called in advance to check that lunch was available. We arrived to find an empty restaurant and a staff busy preparing for a wedding party. The lady who greeted us looked our casual attire up and down and made us feel quite unwelcome. We were moved into the empty restaurant so the wedding party wouldn't 'disturb' us !
Lucky in this economic climate that a hotel or restaurant can be so snooty to paying guests.
The food was fine. We ordered the steak sandwich, salmon and burger. We had to go look for the bill to pay at the end - think we had been forgotten !! We didn't stay for dessert.
Would suggest that the Station House not open for lunch on days when they have a wedding on as they clearly don't welcome or manage the 'other' guests well. Don't plan to return.

Ate here a few times. Always found it to be very quiet and therefore have scored down on atmosphere but have found the food and service to be very good. Staff are always good to provide you with a ticket for the car park to make sure you aren't clamped.

Bar side of Kudos is excellent - especially for a quick lunch.
Food excellent. Get there early, especially on Thursday or Friday.
Avoid the restaurant side, food not as good and service terrible.
