RagazziPosted on 17 July 2007
Ok so the good stuff first... classic Italian food, decent prices, small cosy restaurant but like all things in life there is a catch...The staff, don't get me wrong they aren’t awful and the service is actually quite good and believe it or not you get quite a bit of individual attention but its not for the faint hearted or those looking for an uninterrupted romantic meal. The waiting staff are out going and have a quirky sense of humour and love playing practical jokes on unsuspecting customers producing hilarious consequences...SO if you have a great sense of humour grab a group of friends and give this place a try...its a great laugh for a group of people

Lemon (Dawson St)Posted on 13 July 2007
Ran in here to shelter from a recent mid summer thunder storm and I was pleasantly surprised. I curled up in a corner and enjoyed pure indulgence with a traditional crepe (yummy!) and one of the best hot chocolates I have had in a long time. This place is sure to brighten up any typical Irish summer’s day.

Graces GardenPosted on 13 July 2007
This restaurant is a local haunt for me, I’ve been there so many times the staff greet us by name and we are always looked after. The atmosphere is great and the food is excellent although the best thing about this restaurant is the early bird menu that runs all night Mon-Thurs, its fantastic value for 20 euro where as the actual menu can be a bit pricey...consequently this place is busiest mid week, packed with regulars proving that once you go once your hooked!

Thai HousePosted on 13 July 2007
This is a very small, upstairs restaurant in the heart of Dalkey. Being so small the atmosphere is very cosy and the service is excellent. The menu has a great selection of Thai food (The mixed platter for 2 as a starter is amazing!) and surprisingly enough they have a very good wine list for a Thai restaurant although you can't beat a bottle of Thai beer.

Bella Cuba RestaurantPosted on 13 July 2007
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin, I just love it! The atmosphere is fantastic and the service cannot be faulted. As for the food itself...it’s really wonderful, very exotic and perfect from anyone craving something a little bit different. Now to the best part...the cocktails!, you cannot leave this restaurant without trying what I consider to be on of the best mojitos in Dublin made of course with Havana Club Rum...delicious!

The Cedar TreePosted on 13 July 2007
I only came across this restaurant recently while walking through town and being a fan of more unusual food choices I decided to try it and I am glad to say that I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant itself has a fantastic cosy atmosphere and the food is unusual yet exquisite. The only problem that I had was the fact that although I had booked a table we found ourselves waiting for more than 25 minutes on the tiny staircase for a table, despite this the management looked after us well. Overall it’s a fantastic place and well worth a visit!
