Two of us had the surf' n' turf burger. There was large bits of grizzle in the burger of which neither of us finished. The waiter asked if the burgers were ok as we had left over half on the plate and we told him about the large lumps of grizzle. He apologised half heartedly. My mother had the fish and chips which she said were nice. The bill came to €67 for three lunchs. We werent offered a replacement for the burgers or even offered a free coffee. As we were leaving we heard another table make a complaint about large pieces of unedible fat in the burger. Definately wouldnt recommend.

Being a regular at Masterson's, I'd highly recommend the beef salad for starters & the masterson's sundae for dessert but portions are so huge the sundae is made for sharing. The steaks are always great served with very tasty sauce but a little on the pricey side.

Dined here for the second time on Sunday evening. Service was very quick and pleasant. The starter of bread dip was huge and tasty, The brie starter was'nt great, it was advertised as having hazelnuts but did'nt come with any. The main course of beef was such a small portion with a lot of grizzle and fat, definately not worth the hefty price tag, but my partners pork belly was absolutely delicious. Dessert was average. The BYOB is great. We will definately be back, the bread and dips starter and the pork belly was top class. We had a voucher that could only be used with the a la carte menu which was very pricey, but they do a good value three course special every day which we will try next time.
