Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Swords)Posted on 21 June 2009
Had been unfortunate enough to stop off here before a trip to the Cinema. I had experienced this concept before in other countries and especially NZ so I had high hopes. What seems to constitute a "gourmet burger" here is piling a burger high with at least three huge lettuce leaves and a slice of tomato. In my unfortunate case both buns had been cremated. I think the least you can do when charging 11 euro for something as simple as a burger is get the basics right. Also chips were frozen type and at nearly 4 euro a portion i think the customer deserves better .I did like the garlic dip though. According to the restaurant profile this was based on a New Zealand concept.
I think the owner should get a ticket to Queenstown NZ and have another look at how its done as this is nowhere near the Kiwi standard.
