Most recently ate here for Saturday lunch with my wife. She had a delicious dish of beer-battered fish and lovely chunky homemade chips, which were seasoned to perfection. I had a very nice seafood pasta dish which was equally good quality, fantastic flavous, good service all round.
We have eaten here on a few occasions, each time has been a real treat, every course is served with real care and attention. Perfect for a light lunch in the day, but also a great location for a romantic dinner at night. Highly recommended if you are in Kilkenny.

I've never tried Kytler's for dinner, but have eaten here for lunch on numerous occasions. As a venue for lunch I think it is really good. Our last trip here both my wife and I went for the Vol au Vents, which were served with generous servings of chips and salad. The food is simple but good, served reasonably quickly, which is pub-food at its best in my opinion. The dishes are not too adventurous, just simple good pub-food. Service was good, staff friendly.
