Two of us went here for lunch recently. Very noisy and seems like macdonalds style decor! The sound was so loud I couldnt hear the waiter speak! I had the soup which was nice though didn't come with the home made brown bread that was listed-instead some seedy white bread. My partner chose the all day breakfast, bad idea! Stale toast, hard egg, tasteless hard sausages...etc etc!
Over priced for the quality of food!

I met some friends for lunch here. They offered us a free drink or soup with the sandwiches we ordered which was great value. Im not sure if maybe I ordered the wrong thing, I ordered a chicken and brie toasted wrap which was literally that-a couple of inches of chicken and a big blob of cheese. There was a little salad on the side. acceptable I suppose for lunch. And the free tea/coffee was a nice addition.

Excellent! A charming restaurant. Very cosy and romantic atmosphere! Food was excellent and a great variety. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Wine list was extensive and the bottle we selected was perfect with our meal. The desert was also amazing....we shared ferrero rocher cheesecake! We ordered olives and 4 tapas between us, coffees and desert which came to about 65euro. My partner and I enjoyed a lovely evening here and would love to return every week!

Salamanca was always one of my favorites but on my most recent visit i was a little disappointed. We went after a theatre show and the restaurant was lively and bustling-which I myself didn't mind but my company did and felt they could not hear anything or relax. We of course ordered a number of tapas, they were out of some of the ones we selected so we ordered something different. I asked for the tuna med-rare which came quite overcooked and the patatas bravas were extremely greasy. Having said that some of the other dishes we had were very tasty and we shared one crepe for desert which was nice. Service was fine.

Perfect location to meet up with friends for a chat and beautiful food. 4 of us dined here availing of the early bird which was excellent value. Two courses for 17Euro. Everybody was very impressed with our main courses 3 of us chose different pasta dishes (I personally opted for the parma ham ravioli which was very impressive). The other dish was the fillet of atlantic cod which was beautifully presented and delicious. On our waiters recommendation we chose that one of courses would be desert as opposed to starters. A sample selection of deserts was brought to our table allowing us to let our greedy eyes decide! Each was truly yum!
Would definitely recommend here, food and service were great and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
