Fallon and ByrnePosted on 26 April 2009
Went here for the dine in dublin menu a few nights ago and it was the first time I've ever been. There was a good selection on the menu and corkage is a bit expensive especially if you buy downstairs. We had the white onion soup and crab and avocado salad. Both very nice and tasty, ok selection of bread. For mains, we had the chicken and sea bream, both very tasty. The chicken was tender and delicious while the sea bream went down very well. For dessert, we had the black forest gateaux knickerbocker glory and the rhubarb cheesecake which was delicious and smooth, the ginger ice-cream an interesting accompaniment and both went down very well. With a bottle of french white wine for € 20, the meal was well received. Would go back and check out the basement restaurant also.

Beaufield Mews RestaurantPosted on 26 April 2009
Went to this restaurant and had the dine in dublin menu. Good location and quiet atmosphere. For starter, we had the mozzarella cigar and the spinach roulade. The mozzarella cigar was delicious and melt in your mouth quality. The spinach roulade is served cold but with the mix was delicious. For mains, we had the salmon and the honey glazed bacon served with vegetables and roast potato,it was a bit small to go with what we were having. Both were very tasty and well prepared. For desert, we had the meringues and the warm apple pie, this being lovely with the custard it came with. The wine selection was very good and went for a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. Overall, very nice and would go back.

Buenos Aires GrillPosted on 26 November 2008
Came here on a Sunday evening, got a table for 2 without a reservation. Had the steamed mussels for starters and my boyfried had the seafood chowder. The mussels were perfectly done and alot of them for the price I paid. The chowder was lovely and creamy with plenty of seafood. We got the Parrillada Grill where my boyfriend had the 14 oz sirloin and I had the 10 oz steak with 4 big argentinian sausages and 2 black puddings. DELICIOUS!! The steak was cooked perfectly and well accompanied with potatoes and veg. Had no dessert but it worked out at € 75 for 2 starters, 2 mains and a lovely bottle of red wine! Will definitely be back!

Ivans Oyster Bar & GrillPosted on 11 August 2008
Came here for my dad's birthday a few weeks ago mid week. For a large party of 16, they accomodated us very well with a long table. I had the oysters for starters and while tasty they were very salty which I know I should expect but it does give you a bit of a kick!I heard from others that the crab cakes are very tasty. I had the Fish Pie for the main and it fills you!An abundant supply of fish in it,it really satifies!I heard the linguine dish was particularly tasty. We had the cheeseboard for dessert (selection of irish & frech, enough for 4)but snacked on some of the chocolate toffee tart also which was delicious!Prices were reasonable and will come back.

WagamamaPosted on 11 August 2008
Have been here a number of times with friends and try something new every time. Everything is cooked to perfection and very tasty, any of the Cha Han dishes are lovely as is the Chicken Katsu Curry which I had the last time I was there along with the skewered chicken starter. The curry is delicious and served with rice, the flavours are perfect. It can be busy after work but the queue does move quickly. Prices are reasonable and the dessert Wasabi (Wagamama) fudge cake is plenty for 2 people!

For mains we had the Cotelette d'Agneau Grillee, Gratin Dauphinois (Lamb cutlet with potato gratin) and the steak which was perfectly cooked. We had the tarte tatin for dessert and a cappucino. With one bottle of white wine,2 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert & 1 cappucino, the bill came to just over €130. Will be back again

Mao Restaurant (Chatham Row)Posted on 11 August 2008
I've been here twice over the last few weeks after hearing the good reviews. I had Nasi Goreng the 2nd time and the Seabass the 1st time(the head is not cut off but they will cut it off if you wish!).The Nasi goreng was my preferred dish because of its flavour and mixture. Their selection of teas is great for digesting the food after and the prices are very reasonable!

Mulino'sPosted on 11 August 2008
I've been here twice as I live in the area. The first time I went I had the pasta carbonara and my boyfriend had the steak. We weren't impressed that the steak didn't come with complimentary chips but we got over it! The 2nd time I went was for lunch with friends and there was only one other table occupied. My dish and my friends dish came out differently to what we had ordered but we didn't have to wait long for the correct ones. Atmosphere is good, service is ok but I'd probably go back more for the location than the food.

Came here for something to eat before the cinema. The atmosphere was the usual for this kind of place. The food was nice but average. The service was ok but could have been better. Overall, a nice experience but wouldn't be rushing back.

Having never tasted sushi or sashimi before I was a little apprehensive when I came here.Very quickly though, I was converted, the sushi goes down easy and the soya sauce with it makes a welcome addition. Have been a few times to the restaurant on the Quays for dinner and lunch and never fails!

Mexico to RomePosted on 04 January 2008
I've come here a few times because I've always gotten a seat usually. The food is delicious but especially the Profiteroles, come just for those at times. The first time I came, I got Gambas pil pil, looked small when it came but perfectly sized after you've eaten because they are filling!! Some of the waiters are very very good and then others aren't but the hostess is very friendly and welcoming!
