Ate here last night - my second visit. I think this place is great. Service was perfectly attentive without any self-importance or swagger - friendly and competent. The wine list is really good, and the staff know their stuff. We started with grilled asparagus and poached egg (just perfect!) and scallops (ditto...) and then had the turbot and the steak. I have to say that everything was flawless -
(how rare is that??!) We followed with one of the best creme brulees I've ever tasted - and a couple of glasses of beautifully chilly Sauternes. Right now this is my favourite restaurant in Ranelagh. And - open on a Monday!
